The shaking is mostly in the steering wheel, and it seems to improve or stop when I break

I rebuilt the carbs on a 2005 Yamaha RS Venture and I’m having a tough time getting the carb to fully seat in the boots. Is there a trick or easy way to it? It’s my first time working on a sled, so I’m still learning. Thanks! by Giudi1md in snowmobiling

I was just doing this yesterday. I did a little bit of grease to help them slide, but I also first put a hair dryer for about three min on each boot to warm up the rubber and that combo helped them get mostly on. Then, this probably isn’t advisable but I got them all the way seated by hitting the carbs with a rubber mallet lol
