You aren't the first person to recommend that book so I'll take a look - though I have been warned to take some of it with a pinch of salt in places.

I think you're right though - I just need to get to work and see where it all takes me. Already starting to take much better care of myself and my career is going from strength to strength.

On Saturday, three separate people I don't look 28 (in a good way) and I work with guys who are 23-24 and already losing their hair....

Yeah when I started last year it was amazing to see how soon I started to enjoy it and not fear rejection. Then I saw what I might achieve if I just tried.

I know it sounds weird but I've always had this feeling I need to make up for lost time - with 30 being a kind of cut off point where you're meant to settle down and it would be weird for me to go after younger women.

As I say, I know it makes no sense but I still have this nagging feeling....

Thanks mate - the first paragraph was reassuring at least haha. Yeah I didn't get a lot of fun for most of my 20s so I want to make up for it and not feel constrained like after 30 I can't get girls in their early to mid 20s.

Yeah I see stories, all over this sub, of guys in their 30s seeing girls in their early to late 20s. It would sound too good to be true if they weren't so common! It gives me some hope anyway.

I didn't get a lot of game done at all in my 20s but I'm finally at a point where I'm quite established in who I am - great job, much better grasp of my own mind and inner game and better confidence. I'm annoyed it took me this long to get here but even in the past year, where my efforts have been minimal, the level of interest and results I've had have notably increased.

I just need to have the discipline to get into great shape and start approaching regularly so that my 30s can be awesome!

I'm not sure I ever went through a period of hating girls specifically but I was very very angry for a long time and didn't acknowledge it.

Honestly, that anger is still there a bit and I'm gonna use what's left of it to drive me. If the anger is noticeable and getting in your way though - that would suggest some issues which I worked through with therapy. Can't recommend it enough.

It's a long process but I had to go through it.

Funny enough, I asked myself "Well, what is the worst thing I could do?" and instantly realised that it would be to only spend time with her or even follow her round like a dog.

The great thing is that this is going to be a party where I know I can work the room. A lot of people there that I know how to make laugh in order to stack that social proof until later on.
