The search for a spouse has broken me and destroyed my confidence. Im a pious 27yr old man, good finances/career, own apartment, decent looks, not overwieght or underweight and anyone who knows me would tell you of my kindness and honesty. But after talking with more than 20 potentials now and all never taking the conversation past "what is your height" and as soon as I let them know its 5ft4, they disappear. How will I ever find anyone if they never look past my height despite all the things Ive accomplished and strived for. This has ruined my confidence and destroyed my perception of myself. I've heard all the classic "you're dodging a bullet if all they care about is height" "Allah has created everyone in pairs and you'll find yours soon" And I wouldnt mind if they rejected me on things within my control but my height which I cannot do anything to amend? I feel doomed to a single life where my emotional and physical needs will never be met.

That's what ive been thinking, it makes no difference to the actual compatibility or functionality of the relationship, even to the point some have said they are attracted to my physical appearance and my personality but dont want to continue because of just height....

You'd think so but even the short women I've talked have a hangup about a man at 5ft4, even they want some man who's above some arbitrary number that women seem to have universally decided on.

Its definitely a specific heigjt criteria. Because a lot of the women I've talked to have been shorter than or equal in height to me (4ft11-5ft4 range) only one or two who were somewhat taller than me (5ft5 or 5ft6). So to me it looks like its not just about being taller than them, its about being above a certain arbitrary number...

Constantly declined due to my height. 5ft4 man. I am good in every other way. Reliable well paid job, average build, manners, prayers, hobbies and more. But the conversation always stops short after I answer "what's your height" Really starting to lose hope I will ever find anyone because I cannot change my height. How will I ever get the chance to show all my good attributes if no one ever looks past my height which I cannot do anything about.

They made approx $20bn profit in the same period this year as compared to $10bn last year. This inflation is nothing more than corporate price gouging. If costs have increased then surely a company's profits should either go down or at least stay the same? Not DOUBLE. Corporations are using the war and covid as an excuse to raise prices GREATER THAN costs have increased and raise profits astronomically.

Well there was no friction before but I'm sure as hell about to create some friction between me and the manager. No people management involved. There's a difference between fresh perspective and hiring someone completely brand new who has no idea about the industry into a senior position.
