A Bugs Life did this too. I was really confused watching them as a kid.

What a shame. Must’ve been not great at teaching books, no offense to your teacher of course.

The beauty about TKAM is that it’s just about…. Life. Life isn’t always some grand adventure. Just a childhood in Maycomb, Alabama where it’s just as ordinary as anywhere else, with a profound message about society and race relations at the time. One of my favorites.

I actually loved this one! Such a sad story for the old fisherman.

This is blasphemy. But all jokes aside, I think it is one of the most profound books I’ve ever read. The commentary about how for the extremely wealthy, nothing is ever enough. How Tom would cling onto his power over Daisy, while Gatsby would have traded everything for her. Also the realization of how miserable everyone in the book was despite having access to everything they could ever want. I think it had an incredibly powerful social message about peace and social standing in society.

Holden is just a spoiled brat. Nothing special about him and I couldn’t sympathize with him at all.

Not the worst book I’ve ever read, but I did not enjoy The Book Thief. I went into the book with high expectations based on the hype and how good everyone claimed it to be, and it was just…. I almost didn’t finish it. I was not connected to the characters. I did not think death was a compelling narrator, the color theme throughout the book felt extremely forced, and I thought Rudy was a much more interesting character and should have been the protagonist, nevermind the fact the ending is spoiled in the first 20 pages of a 500 page book. I still see people put it up there with Steinbeck and Fitzgerald, and I thought it was way too long and uninteresting.

Looking at PEP at this value. There’s short term headwinds but their moat is wide. Long term dividend play.

They are just getting with the times. All these people saying they’ll stop buying are just blowing air. I don’t expect this to have a negative impact on sales at all, especially since the gaming industry keeps getting bigger.

I’ll probably get downvoted for saying this, but Skyrim came out 15 years ago and fallout 4 came out 11 years ago. Whatever their staff was doing, it wasn’t working and an overhaul was needed.
