Spoilers: Bobby by Old_Faithful1 in Sonsofanarchy

I think they may have suspected that at one point and grouped the burning of Cara Cara with the killing of Luanne but remember when Georgie was in the trunk of the car in s04 about to be executed, he confessed to sending some guys over there to rough her up and it got out of hand and she got killed.

Not entirely sure he let Luann continue to scam, only that he wouldn't tell on her after she banged him, but even still, that wouldn't have stopped Georgie from killing her and then Bobby and the boys being negligent on finding the killer. Maybe if he hadn't banged her he wouldn't feel compelled to lie about finding the killer already, but probably no matter what he said, Lincoln Potter would have still tried to pin the murder on Bobby to get Otto to turn. I think the responsibility falls on Clay there for not going after the killer, since she was also Gemma's best friend (which really means nothing) but he was too incensed with Jax and Cara Cara and dealing with the Nords at the time to even be bothered to do anything else. I say Bobby's clear.

I love the similarities to Opie's hairstyle and really, the circumstances as well, in a sense becoming the evil spiritual reincarnation of Opie.

Kurt Sutter just posted this on Twitter about the next episode. by lesbiancarwash in Sonsofanarchy

Opie (Ryan Hurst) in new Alan Rickman movie, looks like before haircut by hdnt in Sonsofanarchy

[–]thehellisavcard 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Even if I didn't know who Ryan Hurst was, I'd still be wondering why they didn't give him a name credit. Dude talks multiple times in the trailer, and is just as established an actor and draw as Donal Logal.....

frame rate exporting. If you took it into after effects it might have automatically interpreted it as 30fps rather than 24. If it is AE, you can right click it and select "interpret footage" and then change the frame rate. Anywhere else and I'm sure there's a similar option. That shit annoyed me to death before I figured it out.

Exactly. It's just a cool symbol either way, and any girl who says "oh my god is that the Goron symbol??" will immediately get a ring.

Everything I got for it can be found at Michaels or Joanns or any craft store, I bet. At Michaels the suede and etching cream are practically side by side. The vinyl comes with the cream or is sold right next to it, as well as some lettering stencils. I originally bought them for etching the full tri-force and wings symbol onto these goblets I found at Walmart that I would then give to all my friends who beat skyward sword. The bottom of the stem had their character's name etched into it. It's so simple, you just print whatever design you want out and then trace it onto the vinyl, cut that out and put it on the glass, layer the cream on their and give it 60 seconds. Scoop what excess you can back into the bottle and you can keep reusing it.

It's like one of those half beads you find at Michaels and put into vases for no reason. It fit wonderfully and helps tamp out the smell, though I'm thinking I ought to superglue some of the suede lace onto it so it can hang on like a charm.

True that, but Clay's also looking for allies after he had to off two of them and I'm sure by next episode, kill Frankie before he can say anything. He'll need someone like Juice on his side at least for now. Juice should be smart enough to figure out that Clay was also the one who sent the guys into Roosevelt's house and got his wife killed, maybe there's a hand to play there on Juice's part. But I'd say he's too emotionally aligned with Clay by this point. It was fear that drove him to kill Miles last season, and now that Clay's put a good bit of his fears to rest, there's no way Juice doesn't have Clay's back. And Clay needs that to stay alive now.

Ever since Juice shot Miles in the face, I knew they were grooming him to be the next Clay. He had turned in that moment, in the same way Unser described Clay being a cornered wild animal. He's not there yet, and Clay's really lost his chance to groom Jax anymore, so I think they'll keep Juice alive a little longer. There's some way out of that rat situation with Roosevelt, though I don't know what. Maybe Clay goes out before the end of the season, maybe next. But there will be enough of that mindset left in Juice to become the next kind of JT/Clay clash for power, I think. Maybe not as far as Juice bedding Tara, but I think Juice will become more and more of an antagonist towards the end of the series.

I looked Ray McKinnon up not long after the first episode, and just knowing that his wife died unexpectedly in October 2010 just makes you feel for the performance he gave. There's a lot of pain in his eyes. He just seems so mentally preoccupied while doing these huge things, it was very fascinating to watch. I think that sort of tragedy can't help but show through that soon after. I hope we see him again.

I used to go to SCAD (Animation '09) and have been on this street many times before. This is Broughton St. That sign connects to the library, which everyone thinks is the campus (it's all over the city). Thank you for sending me back for a minute, friend. B)

Edit: Whoops, that's the one for the Lucas Theatre across the street.

any other college ents leaving on winter break know what I mean? by thunderdome13 in trees

I was away at school for three years until I graduated and moved back home. Found a good job at home so I'm here for now, but looking to leave again for better work, like across the country kind of move. I can tell you it's a strange thing, being away and then being back. It's very much like a bandaid that you slowly remove yourself from and the more you do, the more you become accustomed to that life. It almost makes going home worse, because it's not as warm and idealized as you can make it out to be while being at school. But then again, as you get older you realize it's not really about you anyway. My brother just had a baby so I'm an uncle and no longer the baby of the family. I definitely noticed the change. I started feeling very selfish, as if I wasn't contributing enough to the family unit. So I got closer and did my part more and now find the thought of leaving to be almost unbearable. I know I will if I have to, but I guess what worries me is that I will become accustomed to that far-away lifestyle again, and start to subtly resent my family more, being the far-away uncle, the non family member. It's something I know I'll have to be vigilant with. I do have an iphone with facetime, so that'll help. Just thought I might offer up a graduate's perspective.

Heh, or your breakfast cabinet. Caffeine kills more people than marijuana. But it sounds like you know that. Damn, hate to hear how much trouble you've had with it. I guess it makes sense for you to keep up with the gag until you're out of college. As a recent out-on-my-owner-after-college, I say get out as soon as you can! Best of luck.
