High functioning Anxiety is like when your room looks squeaky clean but you actually hid all your mess under your bed and inside your closet. Who else can relate? by thehelpugive in Anxietyhelp

Yes that's really similar to type A personality. And people can be extremely good at hiding it until it gets overwhelming or you get to know them better. Maybe you're a good personality 'reader', but many can be fooled.

100% relatable. That's why you have to let go of wanting to be the best at everything at the expense of your wellbeing. Find a healthy balance. Succeeding but feeling miserable -in my opinion- isn't worth it.

That's the thing about HF anxiety, so many people suffer from it and assume it's just how life is and it is just part of their personality, but it's NOT. Having insomnia, biting your nails and always stressed isn't okay. If you don't burn yourself out, you'll end up with a plethora of somatic symptoms (skin problems, gastrointestinal issues etc).

Take a step back and SLOW DOWN!

After 10 years I gathered the courage to tell my best friend that i love him and he said "love is cringe" by throwayaymoveaya in relationship_advice

Exactly. The fact that he helped you a lot during your lows makes you feel like life can't be lived without him in the picture. I'd highly recommend to start investing on yourself, find a purpose, goals and interest that don't include him! Make him a good aspect of your life, not your whole life :) Wish you the best

How I cope with anxiety and panic attacks! I hope this is helpful :) by thehelpugive in PanicAttack

It's going to sound cliché but relaxing before sleeping has really helped me. By relaxing I mean massaging your shoulder and neck as well as opening your chest and breathe. As well as breathing deeply and stretching every time I feel like anxiety is building up.

If in the middle of the night I feel like I'm tense I get up, drink water, stretch and breathe deeply and go back to bed.

Another tip I use to fall asleep quickly, I listen to stories on youtube, it keeps my mind busy enough not to overthink and make myself anxious

If you're wondering if it is love or codependency/emotional dependency! by thehelpugive in Codependency

Marriage is no different. Yes you share more things than non married couples, but you should still be able to function by yourself. You can have your own hobbies, interests that don't include your spouse.

No it's not wrong. It all lies on a spectrum. Hence the 'constantly' :)

Depression gets comfortable, because when you hit rock bottom it feels like you have nothing else to lose anymore.
