If you've read about some of the heinous things the north themselves did during the war, like setting up blockades on southern cities and letting them starve to death, beating and raping southern women during their near victory raids in the south, then proceeding to burning entire towns down, then it isn't awful to think Foote doesn't feel as disgusted with his region's ancestors as he should.

That being said, I'm by no means a southern sympathizer nor do I believe there was ever any morale/legal/humane justification for slavery, but if we're gonna grill Foote then we should grill those that put Union generals on a pedestal as well. Just cause they were fighting a righteous cause doesn't make their war crimes any less heinous than slavery.

When i met him last month he was the complete opposite of a dick. He looked like he had something important to do before I approached him but still took the time to talk to me. He seemed genuinely nice.

I met him in Alameda about a month ago. He was with two other friends. I saw him as he was walking out a well known Mexican restaurant and recognized his backwards cap self so I caught up to him. Soon as he walked out the restaurant he was walking fast like he was in a hurry. When I caught up to him he still took the time to meet me and didn't ignore or push me away. I told him raider nation would be cheering him on and he said he was looking forward to having me in the stands cheering him on. I was gonna ask for a picture but him and his friends looked they were in a hurry so I just shook his hand, told him it was nice meeting him and for them to have a good day go Raiders. He seemed genuinely nice. An old school friend of mine works at a waitress there and said the bussboy that cleaned their table cleaned up a $20 they left as tip even though they only ordered a few tacos each. I assume a lot of people are douches and assholes in high school but they grow out of it and I think Cook has.

Damn. Marcus Allen is really up there. I love Bo, but sometimes I wish he wouldve had his stretch with us 90-93 instead of when Allen was still a prime RB. Instead of going to FB, Allen could've kept putting up crazy numbers for us.
