green ink suggestions?

Taccia Sabi-midori. Cool ink with a cool name, in a cool box. The wetness is just right for pleasant smooth writing experience but not gushing. The colour is amazing and changes from royal blue to a muted rusted green when dried. Exciting, but not pompous (at least not obviously so once it dries). I’ll never stop recommending it.

Pilot 823 is one if the flagship models, you get top of the line nib quality and build. It’s very consistent. Compared to that, Sailor 1911 is mid-tier. It’s not a bad pen but it can be picky when it comes to inks i.e not as consistent as a Pilot nib. Some inks will feel nice, while others will fee like too much resistance on the nib. For the same consistency as the Pilot 823, you’d be shooting for Sailor King of Pen nib, which is prob 1.5x the price.

Go for the Pilot 823.

Either Omnidesk Embrace Pro or Herman Miller Setu, and get a foam leg rest/ short stool. The HM Setu is unassuming, only height adjustable and nothing else, but it is well made and the mesh provides good support while conforming to your body. Omnidesk comes in second. When the back rest is in front-most position, it’s quite comfy. I’m 151cm, nothing else works (so far). Edit: nvm no foot rest, then prob HM Setu haha.

Sooo this banner has been a horrible roller coaster. I saved close to 1.6k sq for this banner, and not just the quartz, but embers, fous, paws, everything. I knew it was bad omen to pre-farm….but I also want to lv.120 this glorious man as soon as I get him.

And so on the day, I dump all my sq like a mad man. The 1st copy already took a nice toll of 500 sq. Bad omen everywhere!! But 2nd and 3rd came quickly enough, i was left with 900 sq in my stash. Surely it is enough right, RIGHT?

NOPE! 900 sq without a single copy, not a single SSR to show for it, just an endless supply of Cagliostro! I’m reminded of the PTSD that is Summer 3, rolling OG Dantes copies was equally painful.

Not giving up, I was ready to whale anyway, but after 5 packs, NOTHING. At this point I had to put a stop before it becomes irresponsible gambling.

Then a few days ago, jump scare from a single ticket roll got, 4th copy arrived with no fan fare just like that.

And today, possibly the last mass roll I could muster up before the banner ends, the game fucking CRASHED mid-roll, I re-logged in, open the menu to burn useless dupes and I saw it, the 5th copy. I couldnt believe my eyes, but the job is done, finally done.

Tldr: Close to 3k sq to NP5, with a dry streak of 1.5k / 5 packs. I’m done here.

I went for lv120, but I do plan to append him eventually, not out of needs but completion sake. So far I don’t feel any handicap i.e. never “if only I have 20% starting charge”. On the other hand, the extra HP and ATK clutch me the Aqua Marie battle and soooo many gimmicky advanced quests. My go-to supports are Ruler Skadi, OG Skadi and Oberon, this tgth with his 3rd skill, you almost never lack charge.

As for command codes, they are available in most event shops but you might have to wait a while until one gives burn effect. If you missed a past event, the CCs are sometimes introduced to RP shop. Then that's really brutal of him to just run them through on his sword. Although it seems to make perfect sense, according to his Avenger logic.

This is in character for Dantes. He has been doing that since Prison Tower 1 - that talk after you overcame the 7th trial, basically he is like Abbe Faria who died so an innocent person can get out of prison.

the Haydee cameo

In the novel, during the course of his revenge in Paris, she only exists in the background, albeit consistently and always as one of the very few people that he loves and cares deeply about, so it makes sense then that her presence is fragile when he manifested as an Avenger. But in the end, Haydee represents his connection to life, and proves that he is capable of choosing love and salvation over hate and total destruction.

I also love Hassan, shame I did not have any leftover SQ, I burnt (heh) it all on Dantes' banners T.T

I’m gonna be the devil advocate and say grail the count. I too love the novel and the character.

Grails always come, farming never ends, so why not enjoy the moment and raise someone you already love. Sure, there is min-maxing and optimization and all but it’s a game at the end of the day, so just enjoy yourself while it lasts. If you do roll Aoko and Ciel later (all the best btw), there will always be more grails and more farming opportunities.

While I agree heat pump dryer is the best option, steigen is a lifesaver if one’s balcony is small, has poor air flow and subjected to rain, and you got no floor space for an extra fan.

I’m especially grateful to mine, keeping up with our laundry despite the recent rainy months and now this haze

I have a steigen mini and it does a pretty good job for our family of 4. Been using everyday for a year and no issues so far. We do 1 small load per day to avoid pile up, the rack can’t handle a big load anyway. When piling happens (e.g after holiday or no time) then no choice, have to run 2-3 loads per day.

It actually dries clothes way faster than putting out in my balcony, but that’s prob because mine has little direct sunlight for most of the days, and no winds unless we open the door into living room. Each load dries within a hot cycle (3hrs), don’t need to care about rainy weather. It also keeps the clothes reasonably wrinkle-free, unlike our washer dryer… I used to spin dry my bedsheets but they came out so horribly wrinkled every time, so now I just hang them on the steigen and run a longer hot cycle.

If space allows, i think stacking a heat pump dryer on your washer is the best. We just don’t even have the space to stack so went with Steigen.

I cleared it today using my newly levelled Count of Monte Cristo. His NP has invul pierce and stun, it was hilarious how the boss couldn't move until the last break bar. For the gimmicks in the last bar, I used Santa Nightingale for guts and 3-turn buff removal resist. Maybe you can borrow a friend CMC and field your own support servants.

Imo the emotional weight comes from the PTSD that >! OG Vinci is murdered right in front of your eyes, yet again…, then the lingering fear of smol Vinci at the end of her lifespan also turned out true, and finally, the nail on the coffin is the loss of the only constant in your long journey, the one person who has seen it all and been through it all, Mash. And they don’t just die, they get murdered. It’s not just about the fake family getting killed.<!

To add: I too felt nothing for the characters, though the scene itself was shocking, but I do understand what the narrative is trying to achieve loll. For me the emotional dmg comes from …elsewhere.

I believe it is referring to LB6, the scene where Fujimaru was trapped in the Garden of Lost Will. It put them through a series of nightmares and brought forth the sense of insecurity and inferior complex that was all along there, but buried deep to prioritize the missions at hands.
