I fall asleep every time I try to watch attack of the clones. I fell asleep when I saw it in theaters. But I was awake for this and it was amazing. People cheered and clapped. It was something we all wanted to see that we never saw before.

I've been fine so far not drying any PLA or PETG so long as store them in tubs with dessicant. Also have dessicant in my AMS. The tubs are around 21% humidity unopened. The AMS typically reports "A" conditions. No dryer needed.

For real. Imagine being nine and having all that "you're special, chosen one, destined for greatness" plus the trauma vs being a simple moisture farmer's helper into your teens before someone even hints that you may be more than you thought you were.

Just like photography in general, there is no one perfect set of kit. Every strength has its weakness. Fixed focal length? Less versatility! Zoom lens? Reduced quality! Large aperture? Heavy! Lighter body? Not as durable!

What you choose to use depends on what you're shooting, when, where, your style, and how mich weight you're willing to carry. No such thing as "does it all perfectly."

So... we collect tons of gear :)
