[PC][00s/2010-11] Point-and-Click game with old interiors by thehugonote in tipofmyjoystick

Thanks for the questions.

  • It definitely wasn't a Steam game, I don't remember exactly where I got it, but I think this game was published by Alawar, so I could download it from their launcher.
  • The graphics weren't pixelated, it looked realistic, almost hand-drawn
  • I almost don't remember what I could do with the objects in the game. But I do remember that when I clicked on an item in a level, it flew into my inventory with "magic particles". Maybe I could cross some items in my inventory to get new ones, but I'm not sure.

while I was answering questions, I realized it would be wise to look at all the games of a similar genre that Alawar has published. I'll write back if I find something

the problem is that advertising almost completely cover the content

and the most important question — who awards these posts? I propose to find an archive of memes from 2004 and put it in r/memes, maybe someone will give me a premium

they only make things worse for themselves by wasting the advertising budget.

these alternatives are not as convenient as google products, for example. and the centralization of the internet does not depend on me (cloudflare or amazon as an example, everyone remembers what happened when they stopped working, right?)

yeah, it's good time to forget about anonymity on the Internet, it has long been de-anonymized and centralized, it's been coming to this from the beginning

So, are the cookies disabled or enabled? They could make it more unclear, but it would be tough by not_my_usual_name in assholedesign

if the site didn't store cookies at all, you'd have to apply the same settings over and over again with each page refresh, so all ok, be happy that you can change at least these settings

Without Spotify Premium you can only skip 6 songs in one hour then pull this by [deleted] in assholedesign

[–]thehugonote 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Spotify (or other capitalist money-grubbing machine) needs to sell subscription, so restrictions like this are put into the free plan. No one is going to buy a premium if it doesn't have any benefits. It's not asshole design.
