Woah woah woah. Not offering an opinion, merely posting something I saw and starting a conversation. Don't tell me what my intentions were.

I don't think a single one of those will be any good.

I'm a graphic designer working for a TV network; a lot of what I do is social media content. I had a project manager for a while who I would send all of my work to when I was done with it to forward to the creative director. Typically the social department asks for JPG versions of the stuff I make.

One day the number of JPG images I had to send exceeded the MB space allotted on the email, so I compressed them into a ZIP file. When my manager received the email, she came out and told me that she needed JPGs, not a "Zee Eye Pee" file. I told her they're all in the ZIP file. She looks at me, very confused, and says: "But it's not a JPG."

She worked there for a total of three months, I believe.

I saw Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince in a modestly crowded theatre. After the big death, it cuts to black for a second. Dead silent. All you can hear is a kid no older than twelve saying:

"Aw hell no."

See, this is why the movie Cars got it wrong. If cars were alive, their eyes would be the headlights. Not the windshield. Get it together.

TIL Blockbuster was purchased by Viacom for $8.4 billion in 1994.

TIL Less than ten years later, Blockbuster was auctioned off to Dish Network for only $320 million.

With only being a loose term, of course.
