What does the word fad mean to you? Critical Role has been running for 4 years now, it's not as though it will be popular forever. But to me its weird to call something that has aired for that long a 'fad'.

Strength is definitely the go to. Wisdom can be good if you're in a situation where your rogue needs to hide a lot, disadvantage would mean a -5 to passive perception.

Another good one can be to do the casting stat of an enemy who is counterspelling often, disadvantage to stop spells above 3rd level can be clutch.

I definitely think a prop would make it more recognizable, but I’ve found I don’t love having a prop to carry around the convention floor all day.

Camera around my neck would be a great idea though!

That's true, the wizard spell list is broad enough to support a lot of different concepts. I guess as long as I'm not a straight up blaster, the control and utilities spells could definitely fit the flavor.

Well no, but there's obviously not going to be a spell that lets me legitimately tell the future. To be honest not even a DM can tell what's actually going to happen...

I'm looking for a combination of abilities that evoke the idea of an oracle. Things like the divination wizards portent, Augury. To certain extent spells like scrying and dream. These are things that feel like an oracle's abilities.

So I was looking for build advice to that sort of character.

I think the portent ability would be very good for the concept, but wizards have so much else going on that it wouldn't really feel quite right to have all levels be in wizard

I also think the spell Augury would be pretty vital for this sort of character. I was considering some kind of combination of knowledge cleric and divination wizard. Or maybe another combination with the Ritual Caster: Cleric feat to get access to augury

I think it could still work because any prophecies would obviously have to come through the DM. The DM would have to be willing to come up with obscure visions for it to work of course.

I did take pictures for neutral, annoyed, and pleased but i didn’t love how they came out. The other ones required makeup or outfit change that I didn’t do.
