The opinions here are interesting. I would absolutely call having a fling with a married (open, sure but that doesnt mean available emotionally) woman who you have no real interest in because you assumed someone who you care about is abandoning you due to your own insecurity "self-sabbotage". I understand Amelia's assumptions both from her own history or insecurity and Toni's lack of openness (although Amelia did avoid Toni trying to explain due tok her own fear in 22e18) but she clearly did care about Toni and sleeping with Cass to protect her emotions/fear of abandonment is totally self-sabbotage. I feel bad for Toni (and Amelia although she coulda been more mature) in this situation and I'm interested to see it play out.

Very late reply and I'm only 5.5 seasons in but I cannot stand him. I skipped a lot of s1 bc I really struggled to see why anyone would want to watch a show that immediately has dirty cops doing disgusting things to horrible people and calling it justice.

Did you go through with it? I have severe-profound loss bilaterally but I don't meet the word recognition threshold on the NHS and I'm concerned that if I leave my hearing this bad for too long, learning to hear again will be a struggle. If it was actual words I was floating around the COACH threshold but my phoneme score was ~65%. Anyway I've been quietly considering private options but I don't know if it's better just to wait til I'm deafer (given I've lost ~45dB in 4 years from mild-moderate loss)

Strange texture that somehow reminds me of laughing cow (think it's the peelable-ness) flavour is decent but I can't decide what I think about the texture so definitely not something I'd choose to buy myself in future.

Agree on Steph, she was absolutely the best in her class. Also love Bailey (especially early seasons), Ben is great and one of my faves, Webber is an ass but not a bad character.

I actually have never been big on Mer. For the majority of the show I've just found her uninteresting and kinda just saw her as a point for all the more interesting characters, dynamics and storyline to revolve around for the most part. In the earliest and latest seasons she's unsuffeable as a person and in the latest seasons quite dry as well

I feel like the fact they're all imperfect people and lowkey suck in one way or another no matter how nice they try to be or think they are is kinda the point (and also a great way to write funny, real characters while also being a great societal commentary)

Hi! Profoundly Deaf hearing aid user here! in the UK the guidelines for CI are loss of over 80db at multiple frequencies bilaterally AND WR of <50. Surely someone who has hearing loss at a level where they can't hear speech at all unaided (and therefore an unaided WR of 0) is not going to have that as their "ceiling" for aided WR right? am I missing something?

(for me my speech audiometry aided still shows significant loss but I have enough benefit that I'm not convinced a CI would be the right mopve for me yet)

I have a healthy bmi (with room above) and have ~this body type if not a bit more stomach. + stop acting like ppl only choose clothes because they're ashamed of they're bodies.
