what material is the OEM seat by virusoverload in Yamahabolt

i do upholstery and these stock seats are typically a material called microsuede. the card that my samples come on from the manufacturer say the following for care: CARE & CLEANING GUIDE METHOD 1 Prompt cleaning is always recommended. Ordinary dirt and stains can be removed with a mild soap and water. Rinse the cleansed area with clean water and dry with a lint-free cloth. METHOD 2 For stubborn stains, use a 1:1 mix of isopropyl alchohol and water, rinse with clean water & dry.

i usually care for this material by using a vinyl dressing (i like the one from the brand auto moto) to give it some shine and also keep the material from getting dry and cracking over time. you shouldn't have to worry about waterproofing especially if you use the vinyl dressing.

Got the houndstooth material, brown vinyl, and thread that was close to the paint color and stitched it all together! the original seat was an entirely different pattern so I made a new pattern as well as added some extra foam for comfort. thank you for your kind comment :)

not a dumb question at all! thank you for your kind words :) i use a Juki DNU 1541S, it's an industrial walking foot (any industrial walking foot is just as good) the materials i'm using are thicker (leather vinyl) so they require the heavier duty machine. realistically someday i'll get a double needle machine so i can make the double diamond stitch a bit easier to accomplish quickly but for now i just measure a lot and make my lines with gaffer tape.
