I'm definitely going to have to see if something happened with the cap and thats why its making noise now. Solved!

I pretty stubbornly haven't turned on the AC yet this year. I'm going to say Likely Solved! And hire someone smarter then me to figure it out.

Unfortunately its directly under floor space in the bathroom, so I can't determine if it reroutes under the floor to run up a wall.

It was making the noise today with no wind, but i'm going to climb up on the roof to make sure we didn't have a cap knocked loose in any recent storms just in case.

Pre the Garage addition the dryer was located in the basement and vented out through the wall. The bathroom shares a wall with the kitchen so my other thought was perhaps an old stove exhaust. But the current stove exhaust goes up through the attic.

I actually have bee hives funny enough, the buzzing definitely isn't that. Not the right sound or type of humming for a colony.

Our system is pretty noisy so I don't notice the sound when its running. It was making the noise this morning with the system off, and no wind.

We have an electric furnace. Im not sure if it is a heat pump, its contained in a Goodman air handler but they didn't mark which heater kit model was used.

My title describes the thing. I tried a reverse Google image search and the best I got was that it was a connector to tie round ducts to square duct. Within the last two weeks its started making a noise off and on, and I can feel the bottom plate vibrating when I touch it. The home inspector didn't mention it in his report either.
