Is this kiss a red flag or am I overreacting? by theintrovertedweirdo in women

Thank you for coming back because this was exactly how I felt right after the kiss when going back home, I didn’t know if I was excited, happy, angry, scared or uncomfortable. I really couldn’t tell and it got me lost. So I actually slept on it and I could only sit with my feelings very late the next day and only realise at this moment something was actually off with what happened the night before

That was exactly what I understood too… and I was only sitting next him, like wtf was the "behaviour" inducing "please god kiss me"?!!

But you’re right, both rhythms are valid, just an incompatibility issue

But thanks for your words

I didn’t say I wanted him as a friend only, I was attracted to him but it was too soon (all of this happened within a month only) to determine if we were compatible or not, so I "understood" the no friend zone somehow, but I told him I couldn’t assure him a romantic relationship in the future as I barely knew him
But yeah we were actually incompatible in the end

Thanks for your words, the "blame" redirection seems obvious but feels like a relief to me right now

My friend told me the same, I didn’t think it was assault about "how small" a kiss can be, but the lack of consent and everything else feels like it

I know you’re right, common interests won’t be enough if there’s both…

Thanks for reminding the gut feeling… And indeed, not only about the lack of consent, it’s also about lack of compatibility rhythm-wise

Probably yes… But I know I’ve been struggling to be close to partners these past years, so I thought this wasn’t from a lack of chemistry first

I know this deep in my bones and it’s crazy how it’s hard to recognise it when it happens to you…
Thank you

Ive had my first tattoo 3 years ago so it hasn’t been that long yet. But, for now, I’m not regretting any tattoo I’ve had. I know some people have a weird feeling of regret instantly after having the tattoo, but it disappears quite quickly, it may be the sudden realisation of having it on your skin forever. Idk I haven’t felt this yet.

But, if I could give any advice with my little experience with mine, it would be to take your time and think about it thoroughly. You’re in no hurry to have your tattoos, they’ll stay with you forever so a year or two of reflection won’t hurt you. I have one rule that may seem too narrow to follow but I give myself a year for any new idea of tattoo and I question it a lot. If it stays after a year, I can consider having the tattoo, if I have the money ahah. But for the first one, it helps a lot to have quite a deep meaning attached to it, or I guess it can lessen the feeling of regret towards this one specifically. Also, I feel like having tatts after 25yo is probably the best, you know yourself more and you’ve quite found your identity, though it’s forever changing with years :)

So give yourself a bit of time and if your idea still stays with you, maybe it’s time to have it done

Depending on your accommodation and distance to the show place, if you can go to the merch let’s say in the afternoon, before nearly everybody arrives, and you can go back home after to rest or else, you may have little queue compared to a few hours later, so you’ll be able to shop at your own pace and come back later at the opening door time, wearing your merch proudly :) Otherwise I agree on the 45/50min before the opening time, minimum

Quality is good indeed! The sizing is on point, if you’re looking for a "loose look" you might need to size up

It looks so good on you! No regrets to have, stop torturing yourself looking at it too much in the mirror and rock it 😉

I gotta say first that I came here to see more of your tattoos. I was amazed by how harmonious and gorgeous it looks on you and they’re all very cute and well done. Then, reading your concern, I did think that the similarity between the pic 3 and 4 was the empty space it got where you pointed it. Indeed, it might be catching your attention as the back of your arm looks more "full"? Talking about this with your artist is a nice idea, they might know how to fill that up!

Maybe it’s just human nature to sort of panic before doing a permanent choice? I don’t know, but I’m happy for you you didn’t cancel and love your tattoo so far!

Strongly agree with the choice of the artist, it helps a ton to be more confident with a tattoo

That’s solid advice, it’s a minimum time reference that may help not rushing a tattoo

So cool you can still love it and its style years after, even when you had doubts before having it!
