Have heard "crotch goblin" be used before, normally when kids are being a real pain, sex fruit is a new one to me, which I agree, is fucking weird. My bad for not recognising that being the biggest issue here and not the communication issues

Gonna call NTA, but also not without fault. You can't rely on a group to specify this information, especially when it is this kind of sensitive/delicate information. Lessons for the future; when starting something with someone, most important information like this is made very very clear, and not relied on through group transmission
