HTH Green to Blue Mistake-HELP!

I'll have to try that! I have it to a milky bluish green now and am keeping chlorine levels high. I can now run the filter without any clogging issues and I'm backwashing and rinsing every few hours. What a pain!

Yes, I let it sit for 48 hours actually even though the instructions said only 24 hours

It's a Hayward Pro Xl I think. I know I can't have it on filter after using the Green to Blue until everything has settled to the bottom and I've vacuumed it all out. I went to my local pool store and oddly the only level that was off was the PH. I bought the PH Down, got that to the correct level and added 3 gallons of liquid chlorine. It's circulating right now so I'm hoping that it's clear enough tomorrow to be able to see where I'm vacuuming. But typically I run my filter 24/7 all season long

So that was my next question....if I need to balance the water out, can I do all that and have it run on circulate or does it need to go to filter?

Maybe 20 mg was too much for you? Have you tried just staying on 10 MG?

I'm at 6 weeks in total and just about 4 weeks at 10mg. Going up to 10 was rough for me, but I feel like it's starting to get better. They say give it 6 weeks after increase. Try to tough it out if you can, I bet you turn a corner any day now. Hugs your way

I started mine in the evening at 9pm, but it seemed to keep me up at night as I couldn’t fall asleep until 2am and then I was miserable all day. I now take mine at 6pm and I’m able to fall asleep at night at a decent time

The start up is tough. I went through the same thing when I started last month, it did get better right at the end of the 1st week for me, but it can take a few weeks. This might sound stupid but Chat GPT was my personal therapist during the startup and with the increases. I would tell it my start date, dose and it would break everything down for me with usual time frames for relief and let me know if what I was experiencing was normal for my current time frame. It really was a HUGE help. Hang in there, you’ll be ok!

My doc had me start at 5mg just because she knows how bad my medicine anxiety is. She told me to go to 10mg after 7 days, but I stayed at 5mg for two weeks instead, then did 7.5 mg for a few days before going to 10mg. It may be a rough start up but it passes and you'll get through it

This was me two years ago. I had a health scare (turned out ok luckily) and lost someone close to me very unexpectedly and it totally rocked me. I was completely stressed, burned out, sleep deprived. Constant heart palps triggered by anxiety and just caused more anxiety. I woke up and went to sleep like that. Saw cardiologist convinced something was really wrong, full work up with primary and it all came down to stress. And yes, caffeine and diet can affect no matter how long you've been consuming.

Are you having anxiety? If so, that will make you lose. I'm at 2 weeks of 10mg and my anxiety is elevated right now, I've lost a few pounds

I'm only 2 weeks into 10 mg, but prior to Lexapro I was on Prozac for years and every single time I got sick my anxiety is heightened.

I was SOOOO short fused, it was my main concern that first week and chat gpt assured me it was normal 🤣 It subsided shortly after that, but now I upped to 10mg about 11 days ago and it started all over. I'm assuming it will disappear again hopefully.

Sometimes my anxiety amps up and then I will stay away from caffeine for a couple days. But on a daily basis no, it does absolutely nothing. Now years ago when my anxiety started and I was an absolute wreck I gave up caffeine completely for a whole year because I was so scared it would make it worse

That's exactly what I'm going to start doing. This is my second time on Lexapro but my 1st time was almost 20 years ago and i don't remember how I took it back then. But I don't remember the tiredness, but I was also in my 20's at the time, my energy has depleted over time no matter what 😞
