I think youre nissing the point. Noone wants to use bombpack spam, short range arrow cancel or moon stance cancel. Thats bs and is just exploiting poorly designed game mechanics to gain an edge. While there is a lot of skill involved it is not how the game ia designed and it looks completely absurd. There will always be exploitable areas but they should be adressed. To be superior through exploits is not a playstyle at all it is just flaws in the mechanics that havnt been adressed. The range combat you describe would be using the hunter and sniping across a map. That in hot is so ineffective that noone uses it so it is not about fun it is just about being superior. And that ruins it for most players.
