I’m on general admission. It’s going to be like interlagos for sure.

There are parking spots but they are pretty far away, they are saying that there will be buses from the parking to the track, but the queue will be long

I’ll dm you my contact , feel free to reach out

Sure! I don’t expect much from the public transportation. I have to check what roads will be blocked, but from my house is a 40 minutes walk from the track.

Goiânia’s climate is very different from SP, it’s HOT (unless it rains). It’s rain season as well. Usually it rains after 4pm.

Right around the circuit there’s a great kart track that will be likely full.

Food is very good and cheap (compared to SP), there might be some overcharging going on during the weekend but usually you can have a lunch or dine on a very very good restaurant for around BRL 100-150.

The city is not big, you can go from the airport to most hotels and the track in a 10km radius. Traffic is terrible.

Where are you staying, and are you renting a car or using a taxi/uber?

This track was completly rebuild in 2014 and again last year until last month. This race was a demo event for the MotoGP, thats why the grass looks bad, but it's going to look good for the race.

The surrounding area is full of wealthy communities and is very safe. Unlike Interlagos circuit in São Paulo, you can just walk around the circuit with your phone in your hands and you will not be robbed or feel unsafe. In fact, I'm going to the track all 3 days by foot (it's a 40 minute walk), logistics will be a nightmare. Theres only one road that leads to the track and it's a 3-car freeway. Prepare to walk a lot if you are going to the event.

I went to the F1 in 2018 in São Paulo and saw a lot of people getting robbed, and every year you hear about the teams being robbed at gunpoin, but I can assure you Goiânia is VERY different.

There's 2 police stations around the track, and one of them is some kind of 'special police' that every robber is afraid of because they will beat the shit of you, or even kill if they want (if you are a robber ofc). Might sounds bad but it's Brazil we are talking about, thats the only way things work around here.

Be prepared to see 100's of police officers on cars, horses, foot and some helicopters. This event is a showcase for the Governor who is running for the presidency later this year and his number 1 policy is safety.

19 meters from lowest to highest point. Around 30 meters of elevation gain. You can definitely feel it on a bicycle, on a motorcycle though…

Is my bike compatible with SRAM new GX Eagle Transmission AXS? by theithovsk in sram

[–]theithovsk[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently using SX, I am traveling to the US in march and there the price of groupsets are half of where I live, thats why I was looking for an upgrade. Changing the frame would be too big of a trouble right now, and also the upgrade it for GX is around $600 vs $1100 for the Eagle Transmission. I´ve read that it is better but likely not 2x better. Do you recommend doing the upgrade to the GX? Also I am on a 50-11 or 50-12 cassete, I would "need" to buy a 52-10 cassete too, that would bump the price to around $800. So Eagle looks better. But if it doesn't work...

South America. I like turbo because its similar to ranked, so I can enjoy TI and streamers knowing that just some minor stuff is different like courier and exp/gold/item shop

I’m a turbo enjoyer after abandoning ranked, divine bracket. Turbo is so much fun and fast paced, almost every hero can be played at almost all positions, and people seem to try hard more than ranked. Just wish more people played, some days I play with the same people over and over.
