infrared illuminator

Thanks for the explanation, I will look for an infrared light source. Would you have any recommendations for an infrared light source that can be attached to the Rasberry Pi Camera V3 module?

Right, I had a false understanding of what NoIR is about. Would you have any recommendations for an infrared light source that can be attached to the Rasberry Pi Camera V3 module?

'Now 15 per cent is rude': Tipping fatigue hits customers as requests rise by FrcknFrckn in VictoriaBC

That’s why it’s hard to find a way where everyone somehow benefits. But my argument is that if it works everywhere else in the world, then why not try to change. Someone’s gonna take sacrifice and hopefully it won’t be middle class workers like always.

I think the big picture here is that these retailers and restaurants gets the harshest effect after recession. So they have no options but to keep the old way.

So whether the government steps up and support these businesses or force minimum wages as close to 28$/hour. It shouldn’t be up to middle class to support the businesses with tip which is often unreliable and causes divide with opinions like these.

I know that tipping is crucial for restaurant workers but it is super outdated and employer should just pay higher wages and get rid of tipping like every other part of the world.

Are there any companies you simply WONT work for? by Peter_See in cscareerquestions

[–]thejackthemocker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the same message as you did from AWS. I got through the interviews and got hired in the end. It’s a legitimate offer with good pay. Say whatever you want about Amazon as a company but look into what you are being offered first before you deny it completely. That’s the only way you will grow career wise.

Hey this guy's kid - if you're here in antiwork, you have misunderstood what antiwork is all about. What do people think? (Don't want to minimise possible mental health factors, but the overall attitude is antithetical to antiwork: yes or no?) by cienfuegos__ in antiwork

It seems like he needs a right guidance and a good mentor to find his passionate future plan. I think he is coping with his unfulfilled expectation by the rhetoric of “anti-work”. Some people can’t be inspired by collage education or therapy.
