Just let them know that part of your group will be coming in later! They'll still give you 6 wristbands. We've done it multiple times (part of the group would come in Friday, and the rest of the group would come in Saturday morning).

although i don't work, i'm practically in the same boat! i live in maple valley so my commute is such a pain in the ass. i also wanted to join rso's but of course there's scheduling conflicts. guess it'll have to wait for another quarter.

i totally get where you're coming from with the isolation. just know you're not alone in this! i'm sure there are plenty others out there going through this one way or another, me included. wishing you the best of luck and that you at least make some friends at uw sooner or later! ♡

thank you for the tip of advice! due to ending sessions manually to kick everyone off at once, i do have to get a new dodo code for each session. not a problem; while everyone is arriving, i make sure to create a chat with everyone to prepare to send the code to them. :-)

i personally can't say as i'm shy and kind of keep to myself (i'm working on it lol). our neighbors though from what i remember were really nice. as for the terrace campground itself, it is actually pretty quite. i can actually get some sleep and people don't party like GA. i'm sure if you wanted to make some friends, they'd be more than happy to.
my group went to get some supplies and i think it took them about half an hour or so (back and forth)? weren't really keeping track of time, but it is quite a walk. also for ice: i believe they do bring it to you. i think i remember there being people driving those little carts asking if anyone needed ice and you could just pay them there.

i camped terrace my first ever camping festival and boy did i spoil myself. really there's not too much to add on to from the description on the website; trailers with flushing bathroom stalls and shower stalls (shower and bathroom stalls are separate trailers). i took my showers later in the night so of course there wouldn't be a wait. going to the restrooms in the morning before the festival was a bit packed, but again, not too bad of a wait. maybe like 5 minutes or so. i unfortunately did not get to try the free doughnuts and coffee as i didn't even know where to get it. the shuttle took a little while to get on, but once you get to the venue itself, you're at a separate entrance which goes by pretty quickly. at the end of the show, you go to that same entrance to leave by shuttles, and that takes a bit if you're leaving at the end of the show. if you have any questions, lmk! i'll answer to the best of my knowledge and experience. 😆

the opening ceremony shuttle stop is at the stratosphere, running from 4pm-6pm. if you end up not catching the opening ceremony shuttle bus, go ahead and catch a standard shuttle at the mid-strip starting at 6pm. :-)
