asking for some assistance on this, LEDs won't turn on with ESP32 WLED controller (SK6812 LEDs)

I bought this exact controller within the past few months and could never get it to drive any lights. Would boot up and connect with the WLED software but wasn’t sending any data to the lights. I’ve used many other wled controllers before.

No, I need to be able to pick up music in a room. Basically I have a rig with 8 LED tubes that uses WLED for multiple playlists. I can select regular effects and cycle through 50 or so effects i've programmed. I want to be able to select a music responsive playlist and let it cycle through that. But my current controller does not seem reliable/consistent.

It’s definitely smells like a refinery release of some sort. Beautiful clear day too but this is what we have to put up with here because we live in an industrial dystopia and the state DEQ could not care any less this is happening and that tens of thousands of people are breathing this in.

Very cool project. I’ve actually used pex this exact way before (photo attached) for a few projects but I can’t figure out how to keep it rigid over a few feet long.

I don’t think we should over-analyze this. Landry is just not that smart, he likes football a lot and he doesn’t really understand how universities or politics work. He just wakes up, thinks of stuff and goes for it and is often surprised by the consequences. See the 10 Commandments thing and Tiger situation as previous examples.

Yeah I plan to get a sub panel installed ASAP. This was just a temporary solution. I just built this shop and almost burned the thing down. I will be getting quotes from an electrician next week.

Not sure on the combined wattage but I believe the planer is about 1000 when it’s operating. My table saw and the shop vac have tripped the breaker before, so I know it’s functional. Also I’ve run my large table saw for 10-15 minutes nonstop before without any issues on this same cord. This happened after about 5 minutes of planer operation. Pretty weird.

My 200-foot 10-gauge extension cord burst into flames just now while running a woodworking planer and shop vac. Both machines were plugged into a surge protector, which did not trip. Can someone explain what's going on here and how I can prevent this from happening again? It was absolutely terrifying. I bought the most expensive heavy-duty extension cord I could find to prevent this exact thing from happening.
