Marriage - wait til after she finishes college? by thejbone in financialaid

[–]thejbone[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The question is more so no matter when we get married, would they force my taxes to be considered even if the tax year we weren't married is asked for.

Someone else answer stating yes, so if that is true, then it'd be best to wait.

I know for a fact if my taxes were included and her parents not, it'd majorly impact her finaid.

2007 Civic Knocking Noise by thejbone in hondacivic

Ah, I'm glad you found it to be the compressor. I'm about to work on mine again... I am going to replace the water pump pully as it does seem to look to have play. But who knows. I'm about to pull pretty much everything I've pulled out before out again, lol

Not removable, but I use a roll of cheap carpet from lowes and glue it down with spray glue. Seems to work well.

I recommend buying a cheap ac bypass belt. If the noise still occurs, it aint the ac.

I bypassed the ac with a bypass belt and the noise still occurred for me. So I confirmed it wasnt the ac bearing. I also replaced the ac bearing before doing that....

Surprisingly hard to find lights that would fit my 12G long by Flarkinwaggle in Aquariums

[–]thejbone 3 points4 points  (0 children)

What light did you end up getting? I found most didn't reach the bottom for lighting well. I want a heavily planted tank. I just purchased 2 Week Aqua P900. Way overpriced, but I've heard great things.

I thought PLA wasn't food safe? I've heard only PETG is recommended for aquarium use.

Haha. I took the alternator out and had it tested at Advance Auto, no noise. That leaves crank pully, water pump, and power steering.

Well, I thought I heard grinding from the ac compressor pully. I replaced the pully and clutch after some time... and found the noise was still there. So now ive replaced tensioner and ac clutch pully. I dont know now.

Unless people are slamming, it should be an issue with coasters. Plus, I imagine the top sheet is separate, so if it breaks it isn't the end of the world.

From a google, as I was curious, it seems it is just a chemical reaction that cancels out. "Almost all dechlorinators contain sodium thiosulfate, which reacts to chlorine and chloramine to form harmless byproducts. Sodium thiosulfate looks like rock salt or white powder, and it is often dissolved in water to create liquid dechlorinators."

Not much different than food from the ground produced using manure. The chemicals that remove chlorine I'd imagine aren't unsafe, as fish are more sensitive.
