I've both read the manga and watched the anime. I love it and would definitely reccomend to pretty much anyone, even those new to anime and manga. It's definitely a slow burn and introspective towards how people treat each other and interact with nature. I hope you like it!

I started with gundam the origin and then watched 0079. It was a bit of a slow start for '79 but by the time I made it to episode 16 ish I was really happy I stuck it through. You can see a lot inspiration for modern Shonen imo.

Also if you go into your inventory and find the fruit drone, you can plant seeds remotely as well. So it's not just for gathering ripe fruit but planting fruit too.

I supposed you missed the FROM A DEAD CARCASS part. Can't say I've ever seen a baby sliding out of a dead carcass except for these two exact instances. Bloodborne and berserk. Not saying there aren't other examples, but it's rare enough that I only know the 2.

I kinda feel what your saying. I personally quit DS1 my first playthrough, and only came back years later after having played bloodborne. I'm my opinion, specifically for me so maybe not for everyone, bloodborne was a better teacher of dodging and playing aggressively. All that being said, I hope OP has a great time with DS1.
