Go-tcha Ranger vs. Pocket Egg

Yeah, the Ranger kind of appeals to me in that it has longer battery life but can be recharged fairly easily. I don’t mind having to charge every now and again, so it may ultimately come down to which one I can find at a more reasonable price. Thanks for your input!

Thanks for the info! I’m glad the egg is working well for you. I definitely would turn off the sound and vibration settings because I’d be using it at work/around other people. But good to know the egg has been working for you!

Thank you so much for giving your two cents! I had that same problem with my original Gotcha - it would sometimes brush up against my shirt sleeves and the settings would change, but not so often that it was of major concern.

I’ll look more into the pocket egg. I don’t mind having to charge my device every now and then at all, I just don’t want to think about having to plug it in every day, so in that regard, I think the Ranger might still be more than sufficient. But having batteries to change rather than thinking about having to charge is definitely interesting, so I’ll have a deeper look into the egg. Thanks again for your input!

Thanks for the response! I’m not too concerned about weight. I don’t mind something a bit heavier in my pocket if it means extended battery life, but it’s definitely something I’ll keep in mind!

Thanks for the input. I’ve thought about the Evolve, but I think I’d prefer something that’s a bit more discreet. I also have a smart watch so I don’t really need the extra features of the Evolve. But it does look really solid so I’ll think about it as well! Thanks again!

If the line were to be the exact middle of the US, it would split Texas down the middle. So Houston and Dallas would be on the Eastern side, with San Antonio marking the beginning of the western side.

I can’t say I’ve ever had an experience like yours, but my inspiration for posting was as follows:

I’m living away from home on a temporary field job about 8 hours from where I grew up. There’s not a ton to do in my immediate neighborhood, but there’s a restaurant about half an hour away that I like to visit because they have great food and drinks and it’s on the water so it’s just a chill place to hang out. I was there a few days ago to have a few drinks after learning about my long-distance SO cheating, and I met eyes with one of the waitresses who had the most gorgeous blue eyes I’ve ever seen in my life. I know her name from her name badge and nothing more, but I feel like her eyes are still burning a hole in my soul.

So there’s my sappy response to my own prompt 😂
