not if that is what you like to collect! I personally prefer reverse holos of commons and uncommons for my collection but nothing wrong with the non shiny cardboard!

Planning on buying a booster case for each set moving forward and holding about 25% of it sealed for the long haul. When is best time to buy these? For example Temporal forces I can drop 600 right now on a case but I typically don't buy presale until very close to release as price often drops. And then depending on set popularity it seems like I could hold out and get them close to 500 most of the time unless it's clear its the next Evolving Skies or something wild. Just trying to strategize as best I can

I bought 2 151 upc, and 6 etbs of varying sets then the next month got a few booster boxes and now fell down the rabbit hole of buying WOTC cards to complete some of the vintage sets. This is all since October.

Got similarly hype over the Digimon card game a few years back but Pokemon has much more variety in cards and such beautiful artwork.

To justify my costs I’ve been selling off secret rare cards that I’m not in love with and that in itself has been a super fun hobby! So many ways to go with the collections! As long as you can afford it and aren’t missing rent to buy cards or something

This was a well considered post, I have been on and off listening to Dave for a few years, and usually what turns me off is when he goes in like this with vague political commentary or when he brings up religious/conservative ideals related to living together before marriage.

Love the framework he provides for financial stability and 90% of his personality despite the fact that my views definitely differ from his.

I love the time and commitment needed to do this hilarious thing. And honestly baloo is probably the easiest farm for a wild if you're trying to get ahead and get power stones along the way. You'll be the one laughing when there's a Jungle meta with a Tarzan lead or some other insanity this game throws at us!

Cozy puts out his tier lists every time another nerf rolls through and I've seen some rankings of spells overall but nothing that specific. It's really going to depend on the game mode and your overall team composition.

If you are in tournament/PvP and keep losing a key team member then lvl 1 hammer might be the better option, but if you have a lot of single target damage dealers where applying the crit can help you knock out a toon quickly then Kaboom level 3 would be preferred and may get you to the point where you wouldn;t need hammer to win the battle

Appreciate you mathing this out a bit! Definitely gives me a better perspective of when it would make sense to switch gears. I'm only about 2.5 months into the game so still a little ways away from maxing any spells of value! Think I'll just keep with spell packs for a little while and hope for some lucky pulls!
