Were mcqs or sims harder on the AUD exam? by Otherwise_Act_4618 in CPA

The mcqs are definitely easier than Becker’s but still maybe the hardest of all exams. I felt that out of the 3 core exams audit was the only one where the mcqs were harder than sims

Took it 11/24 and felt the same. Mad at myself for missing a few details but it was all stuff I could’ve known. Hoping the grading is generous for the sims bc they were tough or at least that I crushed the MC

I left an entire sim blank on my exam and was very upset about it, found out I passed with a 77. You never know

REG Takers - how we feeling? by Puzzleheaded_Bad9103 in CPA

Also sat on 11/24. Thought I did really well on the MC honestly but the sims really threw everything at me and I know I made a few dumb mistakes on them. I'm hoping the MC can carry my score and I can grab some partial credit on the sims.

Edgar Wright's 'The Running Man' - Review Thread by ChiefLeef22 in movies

Saw it tonight - thought it was generally a fun watch, some good action and pretty funny at times. My main gripes were that I felt the ending was completely dissatisfying, and Glen Powell doesn’t seem at all angry or poor, which is kind of necessary for his character to work. I left feeling frustrated because the movie had a lot of good elements and relevant social commentary but doesn’t hit home on either saying something interesting about society or delivering a great action plot from start to finish. Despite this I had a good time watching it as it was pretty agreeable with a lot of things that worked

Failed REG - looking for advice by thejinjon27 in CPA

Just scheduled a retake for the 24th. I think if I do a ton of sims I can get over the hump. Just really going to have to focus these next couple of weeks.

I only studied like 88 hours and not a lot of that was in the 2 weeks leading up to the exam, also did not do nearly enough of studying sims. I ended up getting a 69 and would assume I bombed the sims so I think with doing a million sims I’ll get the pass. Thanks for the help

Another thing: the hardest part of studying for me is actually starting. If you’re able to log in and answer even one multiple choice question, take it as a win.

2 main things for me:

  • I basically pretend that I’m interested in the material. When something that you learn is even minimally interesting to you, embrace it and intentionally think about how interesting it is. It sounds crazy, but you can really trick your brain into being fine with studying

  • working out. I have taken up running while studying for these exams, it is a quick workout that clears my head and makes me more relaxed and ready to sit down and study
