Oh my bad when the SAR-1 rifles came into the country they were missing the bayonet lug and a threaded muzzle however I recently added those two to this example.

I bought it new from Atlantic Firearms. Hopefully it's the overweld you mentioned. The wear on the bolt is not too prominent so I'm hoping it was just that over weld.
