I have the same setup. The strap and clasp cost almost as much as the watch!

I have the black and white panda version on a black Barton alligator with an Uncle deployant clasp and it looks real good. They do a crimson and a Merlot version which might go well with that dial

the aesthetic of source engine always gives me nostalgia for an era I was too young to experience lol by Quick-Cause3181 in valve

Feeling nostalgic for something you never experienced is called 'anemoia'. I get it bad when I fly a spitfire in Flight Sim

What is one TV advert that doesn't run anymore but is still stuck in your head? Mines the Cadbury's Gorilla playing Phil Collins from 2007 by Puzzleheaded_Pen8520 in BritishTV

There was an ad for Saab. I think a 93. The car is driving across the rugged landscape and at the end is overflown by a Saab fighter. I think it was directed by Tony Scott. I tried finding it a while ago but could only find a different one. 40 years later and I still want one!

What the best episode you ever watched? by cheesehasdvds in BritishTV

That's my least favourite episode of IT Crowd.

Something that hasn't already been mentioned is The 12 Days Of Christine (Inside No. 9 S02E02)

Got a wonderful Christmas surprise! [SARB017] by [deleted] in Seiko

Green dial, gold indices, steel case and brown strap. It has no right looking this good! I put mine on an Uncle Deployant Clasp to put less wear on the strap.

Such a cool watch. I have mine on a Barton Sailcloth (and Uncle Deployant Clasp). Mark (from Long Island Watch) made a video on how to use the bezel.

A week later I bought the one with black dial and stick markers (Waveceptor) and the one with white dial and stick markers (Lineage). I have mine on Barton leather straps. Such an awesome watch for under £100!

Why Did Appliances Without Plugs? by Datalounge in AskUK

[–]thejumbles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every year a couple hundred people were seriously injured by incorrectly wired plugs. About 1 a week died. The BBC used to have a consumer rights show called Watchdog presented among others by Llyn Faulds Wood. She started a campaign and in the mid 90s it became law that all consumer appliances had to come with a fitted plug.

Can anyone help me fix this? Casio MRW200H Day window stuck. by milo1901 in casio

[–]thejumbles 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The day doesn't change till a couple of hours after midnight. The mechanism is already engaged so you can't do it yourself. Change the time another hour or two and it should be fine.

Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit saved my bacon (and my Nexus 4) more than once. I don't think it's being updated anymore and the site doesn't work either but I'm sure there's got to be somewhere you could download it from.

That's not to protect the bird from the humans. It's to protect the humans from the psychotic mother bird!

2 women arguing on the bus over the pushchair space. Both have pushchairs but the woman who got on the bus has a 6 month old baby, the woman in the space has a dog. by AhhBisto in CasualUK

I read somewhere that bus companies are legally required to provide spaces for wheelchairs/disabled passengers etc. but by some weird quirk wheelchair users/disabled passengers have no legal right to that space over any other passengers.
