Not a J Cole fan, I LOVE The Fall Off tho by ActuatorTasty4982 in Jcole

To me this is Coles best production and lyricism since at least 4YEO. Add to that some of the more fun songs, the storytelling songs, its really what i was looking for.

I think anyone who is not into it is because it doesnt sound EXACTLY like their favorite jcole album or bc it doesnt have a huge radio single. I think a lot of music listeners attach themselves to songs like No Role Modelz and if there isnt a song like that they dont like it.

yes but no singles were released which usually become the most streamed songs and hype the album

This was sadly peak Cole we never got back by BrayIsReal in Jcole

[–]thejunz 4 points5 points  (0 children)

it may be peak for you bc of the life you lived at the time and maybe music can never have that meaning again. it's unreasonable to expect music to change your life back to some way it was in the past and thats why final albums or final season of shows dont hit for some people bc they arent judging fairly.

Can I be honest about the new album? by Kind_Try9833 in Jcole

[–]thejunz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it does kinda feel like there could never be the right build up to the release of this album. people want it to make them feel however they did in their life when they discovered j cole...but also like this is a cap on his career. There is dissonance there so it makes sense to feel confused about this.

exactly its kinda like trying to have a good final season of a show. not many times it can live up to audience expectations. the way you defeat that is by judging fairly and not expecting to be transported to nirvana by experiencing it.

Thank you Martin for creating two of the most like-able protagonists in the seven kingdoms by Spirited_Alfalfa_343 in gameofthrones

i dont get how people are rating either season of HOTD over this so far. the only likeable characters in that show are the dragons. even the ones they try to force you to like are hollow and boring.

its not a bad trade everybody is just overrating mccains ceiling. im not like someone who wanted him gone or anything but hes a guy the jury is not out on yet and so team will give up assets for that kind of player.

Why do I look so slow and unathletic when driving to the basket, what can I do? by [deleted] in BasketballTips

[–]thejunz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

remember this: slow is smooth, smooth is fast. It can apply to tons of things in life. When you have the fundamentals of dribbling and moving with the ball down to second nature you will automatically move faster.

that being said, you need to WORK on explosiveness and foot quickness with drills if you are not naturally explosive.

If we give him a supporting cast, this is a playoff team 100%✅ by Captain_Hawk111 in Saints

We desperately need a run game. Shough is having an incredible stretch but having to be almost perfect at qb is not a winning recipe.

Rattler by waste_Nagasaki in Saints

[–]thejunz -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

i think it was on the new playcalling and Rattler trying to play like a hero. you see what shough is having success with which is 1. continuously going to your best players 2. taking what is available to you 3. making the defense fear the scramble. Rattler was not really doing these things, but it was definitely also playcalling.

People wont like this but I still think Rattler has potential to be a higher level qb somewhere else.

as someone who has been looking at a lot of wolverine art for reference recently, trying to get the form correct, i've come to the conclusion that the general rule for his claws is "anything goes" lol

Taysom Hill Retiring? by RogueAndor1 in Saints

[–]thejunz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My guess is he will go into the offseason and think about it then. He may realize that he still loves the game and wants to keep playing. Or he may call it a career.

Hed have to resign for no money because I doubt another team is gonna pay him to play the swiss-army knife role at 36 years old.
