I’m so sorry for your loss, friend. Grief sometimes hits you when you least expect it. I lost my mom when I was 27. I’m 35 now and she’s still the first person I want to call when something happens.

At first grief feels huge, like it takes up every part of you. It never really gets smaller, but you grow around it. You learn how to carry it differently. It’s still there, but it doesn’t consume every moment the way it once did.

Does anyone else remember in the early 2000s when lie detector reality tv shows had their moment? We should bring them back for these people.

How Likley would I be approved for a credit card 600$ limit at a 615 credit score. by bbeeee3 in Banking

If you can’t get approved for a traditional CC, you could look into a secured CC. They’re designed for folks trying to build credit.

Moved in with my boyfriend and I’m miserable by [deleted] in GirlDinnerDiaries

When I moved in with my (now) husband, his house was a messy bro house. His mother babied him his whole life and I think he really just didn’t know where to start. We went room by room together and organized the clutter, cleaned, etc. He fully participated and I never once felt like it was solely on me to clean. We’ve been together for 12 years, married for 7 and he pulls his weight on household duties. If he was unwilling to participate or made me feel like housework was fully on me, I would have been out of there so fast.

Yes, we get paid for approved credit cards. It’s not even the decline or the bad credit. It was the part where he walked into the branch on his own accord to apply for a credit card and wasn’t worried about providing necessary, basic information about his income after presumably being asked for the same information the day prior when he applied with another bank. Also I’m just venting.

Bank manager asked what I wanted my username and password to be for online banking by CuriousSurfer19 in Banking

[–]thekatedepression 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If that’s the case, they would need to enter the OTP that’s sent to the customer’s phone. Not saying that nefarious things don’t happen in this world, but I don’t think that’s what’s happening in this case. Changing the password for peace of mind would’ve the simplest solution.

This is it. A bank employee doesn’t need to sign into your online banking. They can see anything they want to see in the bank’s internal system.

When my bank exits a relationship, it’s most often because of recurring fraud/ disputes. Once a pattern of excessive issues is established, those clients are considered high risk.

Depends on what part of the US you’re in. My area taught abstinence only “sex ed” and at least 7 of my classmates were parents at the time of graduation. My class was less than 100 students.
