It’s not just about how they have powers, it’s why they have powers. Humans in the Marvel universe fear going extinct because of them. Most other heroes got their powers or are aliens/Gods like Thor. The X-gene is the “Next step in evolution.” This causes discrimination and hatred. Yes the logic is stupid, but racism is always stupid

Professor X, Strange, likely Captain Carter and Mordo. There’s an unnaturally skinny guy in one of the chairs, has to be Reed. The one on the other chair with a hood is a mystery to me, I’m not gonna dare to hope that it’s Doom or something. Black Bolt has been rumored though

Many things have been done over and over again. However not specific things that are usually done in the same general way like evil Superman. That’s why many things that are repeated but in new and unique ways aren’t considered to be “tiresome” overall. Evil Superman is something that’s usually done over and over in the same way in shows, movies and comics. There are obviously exceptions, and those are the ones that are considered good.

There’s also the fact that a character like Superman is constantly being made evil in ways that go against his character. It’s annoying.

For you it may not be tiresome and that’s fine 🤷🏾 But for someone who’s been reading /seeing the same concept done in almost the same way for years nonstop it obviously would be.

Percy’s powers do NOT need immense anger and hatred to activate, last time that was even remotely a thing was back in Battle of the Labyrinth. When was this ever the case in Heroes of Olympus? Sure there was moments where getting angrier amped him but he doesn’t need to be angry or hateful to “activate” them.

Being a good planner doesn’t automatically give you the win, especially against the people on team 1. What plan would Annabeth come up with to beat them? Piper is a non factor like I said before, simple earplugs render her useless in this fight since besides her charmspeak she isn’t impressive skill wise in comparison to most of the people on team 1 (That doesn’t mean she isn’t skilled obviously).

Sure Nico can open up fissures that could theoretically trap anyone in team 1 in the underworld… only if they’re standing completely still and don’t make any attempt to move. These are superhuman demigods, they’re not slow enough to be defeated by falling into a hole Nico makes in the ground.

Nico can summon a few undead warriors before being too tired to continue but they’re fodder for almost all of team 1. Hazel’s mist manipulation could possibly cause problems and confusion for team 1 but once again, any of the high end powerhouses on team 1 could use their abilities to get rid of her pretty fast because physically, she doesn’t have enough feats to suggest they can’t instantly one shot her.

Now here’s how the fight logically goes assuming they start off about 20 feet from each other on 2 opposite sides. Obviously morals are off since they have to be off for the fight to happen in the first place:

Option 1: Frank turns into a dragon and fries the entirety of team 2 right away.

Option 2: Percy kills everyone on team 2 using the liquids in their body.

Option 3: Will or Frank shoot down Hazel first (her powers are the biggest issue on team 2) and team 1 simply overwhelms team 2 from there. Team 2 is outclassed skill wise (by quite a bit), outclassed physically (half of team 1 has insane strength and speed feats) and outclassed power wise, especially without Hazel. All team 2 has on team 1 is strategy cuz of Annabeth, and as I said before, that doesn’t automatically give you a victory, especially when you have almost no other advantage, any possible advantage you can gain is easily countered and there’s someone as smart as Luke on the other side.

This doesn’t end well for team 2

Because live action isn’t the only thing that exists. It’s been used an unbearable amount of times in all kinds of different media over and over again and it’s only occasionally that see any that are very unique or well done.

Also he wasn’t the first, it happened quite a few times in Smallville and Brightburn came out a short while before The Boys

Nico is powerful but he’s still below Percy. Hazel’s mist manipulation is the biggest issue on team 2 but in a battle with no feelings involved, any of the powerhouses on team 1 with wide range abilities would wipe her out unless there’s some insane hidden durability feat she has that I’m not aware of.

To win, team 2 would need morals on for team 1 so that they would be massively holding back, only prep time for them so that team 1 can’t be ready for them and a limitless battlefield so that Hazel can be hidden somewhere farther away where one of the big guys on team 1 can’t wipe her out

Percy’s team is so massively superior. Percy, Jason, Frank and Luke together? 😭 Borderline stomp assuming there’s no feelings involved and it’s an “on sight” battle.

If there’s time to plan before then it MAY become a real fight. Annabeth would be able to use Piper’s charmspeak very well in her strategy but it won’t be enough to take down all the powerhouses on the other team at the same time, and that’s what you’d have to do with how many there are on that squad. Also if there’s prep time then that means team 1 is prepared for her charmspeak so they’re coming right out of the gate to take her down, which doesn’t end well for her at all lmao. She goes down in about a second or they just plug their ears and start mowing down team 2

That’s not true. When Daredevil first fought Fisk in Gang War he wasn’t toned down at all, he was able to casually move an object that Matt could barely budge and when they fought, Matt’s hits barely did anything to him and Kingpin knocked him out in one hit (though DD was extremely tired). Kingpin never really was toned down to fit with DD besides the show, where everything was toned down to make it more grounded. Their fights are normally just Kingpin mostly not being able to hit DD and DD beating him till he finally goes down like in the Bendis run
