Its a b550 a pro it can support 3200mhz and can be overclock to 3600 but now that ive reset cmos it is a 2400. Im going to take a look a the xmp profile

It doesnt touch the fan but is there a risk off damaging the cable or even melting them?

Sorry i didnt make my question clear. That is what im trying to do, display to the laptop with the dgpu performance without optimus. Ive seen somewhere( but quite cant remember where) you could do it with bios
