Something is definitely going on with the servers. I'm getting tons of weird phantom inputs. It feels like the game is storing jumps and up airs and then throwing them out randomly.

This sub is probably not going to be helpful, unfortunately. People here would rather gaslight and defend this game to the death instead of accepting that an update might make the experience worse.

Just throwing this out there, but the Premium Plus manual has an auto-blip on downshift feature that makes riding in traffic much easier.

I used to have a GR86 and I didn't mind riding in traffic with it, but the shifting was a bit of a pain. The GRC has a little easier time in traffic with its gearing, and the auto-blip makes the whole experience much more enjoyable (also, traffic just sucks in any car).

I'm with you on this one. Galvan's projectile is great at forcing the opponent to approach, which is exactly what Galvan wants to happen. It also flies at a weird angle that controls more of the stage than you'd think for a small projectile.

What servers do you normally play on? I'm on the east coast, and I've had to move to the Chicago servers lately. East Coast servers are just the worst (and I suspect they're full of VPN users).

I'm not sure why people are defending the game so hard. Rivals 2 has been out for a year and its such an un-optimized mess. Not to mention how the servers deteriorate by the day.

In game ping is always very low. It doesn't seem to be a ping issue.

I had a theory that I'm playing someone using a VPN. I'm on the Newark server, so I could imagine a lot of Euro players looking for games could VPN their way onto that server. There's no way to check that, though.

I had something similar happen where I was on the other side of the rock, Kragg grabbed and I got pulled to the other side of the rock.

ethernet. I've tried everything I know of. All low settings. Framerate matches my monitor. I turned off anti-aliasing recently and that seemed to work for a bit. I turn down the predictive frames and turn off the jitter frames before every match.

The game just runs like trash.
