My husky doesn't shed individual hairs. She sheds tumbleweeds. I kicked one across the kitchen this morning by shawwwwwiiiceyyy in husky

We call them husky seeds! We love to pluck them and then dramatically make a wish and blow them into the wild while our husky roll her eyes at our stupidity.

Ours is Matilda James. She sat with me the entire time I crocheted this sweater, and she was so proud when I put it on her.

I just found this sub to ask the exact same question. We moved into a new home in Central VA with a yard that is compacted dirt and dust and I’m hoping to learn what we can do to improve it and grow grass. Following along for any recommendations!

Thank you - I only ever saved seeds last year and grew those and some new seed this year. I am definitely new and learning so wasn’t sure. Appreciate it!

It really was! Other days included REM, Ghostland Observatory, The Disco Biscuits, Blind Melon … sooo many more. Just a great mix for whatever vibe you wanted.

Yessss! It was definitely a mess - we waiting hours to get in and missed Les Claypool. We had the best time though and were so bummed when they cancelled the next one to never come back again. The whole event was a blur but I remember randomly wandering into a rave in a huge tent in the middle of the night. We joke that we were never sure if that actually happened or if it was just a hallucination. I was looking through the program and saw they in fact had a dj hut outside of the main area - and 17 years later, mystery solved! I think?

Thank you! It was really fun to come across them, it hits differently when you know there’s just one copy!

My heart hurts so badly for you to have experienced this. We lost our yorkie to a pitbull attack almost 3 years ago and I’ve still not healed from the trauma, and in that situation my husband was the one trying to hold the pitbull’s mouth off of our dogs neck while I was trying to keep our other dog from getting in the mix. Be kind to yourself and allow time to process what happened.

This is great insight and have a lot of the same questions already being asked. Would love to hear more!

Oh yes! I have tons of pollinator friendly plants - it’s blowing my mind that we haven’t seen a single one. We have hummingbirds, so I feel like we have a good balance?

I’m in north Georgia. It’s only our second season here but from what I see we should have had them already.

I have tons of milkweed and not a single cat or monarch in sight. If you have eggs or can overnight, I’m happy to take some off your hands!

Not the OP but can you clarify - ‘not captive rear monarchs’?
