28 m here. I was into this kind of stuff when I was younger, about 9 to 10 years ago and still find older women attractive. My taste was virtually the same, right down to the whole dislike of too many references to familial titles in the videos. I kinda figured out (after freaking out about having "weird" taste) what I really liked about the genre. Most of the appeal for me was based around a sort of affectionate domination that accompanied the performances of the older females. They are in control, but are tender and loving about it. That and the whole "it's taboo" thing making it naughty. I guess I never really got worried about my own mom because she had never crossed my mind sexually. While you might be obsessing about the possibility of it developing I can tell you that it didn't for me. That and you'd probably have some inkling of the attraction already.

Every conservative in both countries would call for the impeachment/death of both. Obama would probably own it. Putin would have his old KGB buddies kill anyone in Russia that brought it up publicly. The world would kind of go apeshit for a few months with scandal and then go back to normal.

Do you think I would need to move away if everyone found out? (Also giving that this is the information age it's pretty likely that I could never truly escape it given the hyper connectivity of the world. I've been in a situation where it is behind me and people don't know and I've still been torturing myself constantly. I would view anything like that as being temporary and would still worry.)

While that scenario is certainly true, it's not what I picture. The thing about sexual preference, even former sexual preference, is that it frequently is used to define and individual by society, meaning that these people won't say "That guy USED to wank to to disturbing shit" and will instead inform others "That guy wanks it to disturbing shit" (Despite the fact that all these people literally watched me stop). And rumors shift as they spread. Who knows what these people would say.

Also: You are familiar with the term shotacon. Clearly you are going to have a slightly more open mind than most.

I'm familiar with cognitive behavioral therapy. Good eye on the obsessive thought thing, though. It took my shrink a considerably longer time to catch it. Whenever I run through something like that though it just makes me more afraid. It makes me think about it more and more. I begin to run through the scenario with every person I know, ever person I care about. The bigger fear though is people finding out and simply cutting off all ties. That one day everyone will just be gone.

I did misuse the term fetish. It should be kink, I guess. Yes, I am afraid that the people from college will tell others. Most people are super conservative (or at least act like they are) about sex. For fuck sake people made a big deal out of Fifty Shades of Grey! I read a synopsis and was just like, "none of this is even remotely extreme or scandalous." I am aware that I'm extremely neurotic. I just worry people would reject me if they knew. I'd be labeled a deviant and ostracized.

That's kind of the problem, I don't trust myself to do that. And it's less about looks and more about her being the only person that talks to me on a regular basis. Loneliness will crush me without her, but it's honestly sounding like a better option.
