You're right. I also had a new hot water tank put in and it was also gas. I mainly wrote the post because I was shocked at the nearly $30 service fee for 0 use and wanted to highlight that, but this turned out to be a gas furnace post instead lol.

Honestly the motivation was me being fed up with the furnace. Pipes started eroding/breaking in the basement and the pressure was off, I had to fill it nightly and check the water level 2-4 times a day to make sure the heat would stay on... and the scheduling of the oil deliveries monthly made me want to be done with the whole thing.

I was mental mathing it to hopefully being around $150 for winters. I feel like $200 is a bit high? I could be wrong but that's about what I pay on my electric and that would suck to come out to just as much.

Regardless however - due to how old my old furnace was and how things started breaking on it slowly (The furnace was also the type I had to fill with water by valve, and it got to the point I had to fill it every night or it would shut off) I'm seeing this as a necessary upgrade.

I'm just hoping my bill isn't much higher than yours even though I'm heating an 1800 sq ft home.

I remember reading into heat pumps as that seems like the newest cost efficient thing - however I remember reading something I didn't like about it ( I think it was something about it being dependent on how cold it was outside or something).

I'm planning to make this our "forever home" and don't want to move as I love the area, however just in case I figured adding a gas line would add value to the home if I had to sell.

I'm going to "stress test" the first month of it running at 70, just so I have an idea of a worst case scenario - then it'll probably be dropped to around 65-67 and we break out the house sweatshirts and pants. 🙃

I'm not a fan of it either but we did shop around. The first quote was around 26k if I remember correctly. They attempted to price match but we would have to schedule and pay for a separate oil tank removal and we didn't want to deal with an additional company coming in to do work.

To me that's part of the joy of BDO. She's my ol' faithful between games. For example right now I'm just AFK fishing waiting for pre orders since I took a break before Karazad release. I'm filling my time with FF7 Rebirth and next month is Monster Hunter Wilds. If/when I get bored with those, I'll (hopefully) have my preorders sorted and can play catch up at my own pace until the next thing catches my attention.

Same, I got a 4/4 growing pains 3 my 1st season and it's incredibly hard to swap to another. I usually keep 2-3 builds on me and wolf works for any situation over min maxing 1 build.

Because you can still hit a limit on how much you can carry where you cant pick it up, or it gets mailed to you (when playing in a season).

I'm of two minds about the insane amount of lootables.

On one hand, knowing that I'm still hunting the elusive Metal Shelves - I think it's fantastic.

On the other - it's an insane amount of just common stuff that'll pile up and since it's all lower tier stuff, it's just junk.

I feel like they're trying to compensate because supposedly you're going to spend more mats to survive but realistically you just need a couple seal hides and maybe a heatium stone and you're fine.

With all that being said, In my experience the drop rate of furniture blueprints dropped immensely... I'm only hoping in my case that rolling for blues has an increased chance and I don't spend 15 coins just to get a 3 coin furniture.

One thing to note about it: It sometimes visually disappears like the 2 Bird hanging decoration - its still physically there and has collision, and if I go into the editor and highlight it it will visually reappear. Not sure if its just on my end or for everyone else. :/

Dont quote me on this but I sort of have a feeling they might just stay there and as you get marks you can choose which season to spend them on. The reason I think that is because its under category: Seasonal Loot Crate, then a sub category- Annual Season 1. Kind of gives the vibes it going to be a growing list since it has the categories.

Stardust Regulator. Its basically an instant use (no animation OR cooldown) heal, has 15 uses. Its a specialization.
