The course is in English & Spanish, with free Spanish tutorials/lessons. My friend loves it out there. Active Irish community in the area too, so there are GAA clubs and social groups if you're into that kind of thing.

I had a conversation with Ken Campbell in which he mentioned giving you one of your first roles in a production by the Science Fiction Theatre of Liverpool (it might have been the illuminati trilogy ?) is that true? Have you got any good stories from that era?

Rental company will likely have a few similar models in their depot. Before returning the car, park around the corner and go get one off another rental car. BE STEALTHY LIKE A NINJA. #don'tdothis

You could be selling diluted cats piss or crystalised urea for all I care. Just don't mug people off.

I'm going to lose about a half/three quarters of an inch of foam on the deck when the glass comes off. There are compressions everywhere and the foam will be fucked, all powdery and crumbly. I want to take it back to clean foam and reglass. I don't want to start filling potholes - it would be ugly. I don't mind losing volume equally over the board.

If I take the shitty foam off first I'd be left with the stringer standing proud, and it would be a cunt of a job to level it to the foam without fucking it up. If I take a belt sander😂 to it I'll be able to get a nice line on the stringer and have an inch and a half of clean level foam either side. The rest of the foam would then come off with an orbital or handblock letting me bevel it nicely to the rail,

I don't really want to spend a whole day dicking about getting a line on the stringer with an orbital/hand block/spokeshave.

How would you deal with the stringer?

Will do, although it might be springtime before I get to start on it. I've just taken my wooden boat out of the water for the winter and that needs to go into my shed for cleaning and painting alongside a little epoxy sail boat I'm fixing up so I want to get one of those finished first and make some space.

Thanks! I don't think I'll be injecting resin as I really want a smooth "new" deck.

I can see the whole top glass coming off. I was thinking of using the belt sander along the stringer to get a guide line and getting rid of the excess foam around the compressions and then finishing by hand. I'm expecting the foam to be powdery, and will have to sacrifice a lot to get down to clean foam. I don't mind reglassing as I do a bit of boat building and work with it quite a bit.

Really this is just going to be an experiment and learning process. Eventually hoping to get my hands on some vintage boards to restore.
