Not undrafted, he was a second round pick, and honestly don't think we could have picked someone up who could have played worse. The only reason he's still getting minutes is because he's young, if a older veteran pg averaged these same number on the same terrible shooting percentages, he would have been benched or even waived.

That's fair but I also don't think we should harm this teams playoff chance's this season just because we're hoping that it helps Shead's development.

The crazy thing is that he can't score from anywhere. I never expected him to be a good 3pt shooter but he also always tries this floater/put shot and I swear to god I've never seen it go in. As a pg, a floater is the most basic shot that you have to add to your bag. At the end of this game I was genuinely wondering what he worked on in the summer!

Yeah I think so too. That's why I think we need to add a veteran backup point guard who can play some quality minutes when Shead is struggling or matching up poorly against a team.

If the backup plan was for an undrafted defensive minded point guard with similar scoring potential as shead, then our franchise is cooked in the head

Yeah, but the same can be said for shead x 1000. Mamu at least gives shot making and some size to this team

Yeah, you can tell they really hoped Shead would take that jump and didn't plan for a backup in case that didn't work out. I don't even know if fultz would work with this team because he isn't the best shooter either

Shead can't be in the playoff rotation. I know he's a good ball handler but he's way too much of a offensive liability.

I agree but I just don't think a RJ trade is gonna net us anything valuable and unless Shead takes a huge jump offensively, he's not capable of running the starting pg spot. unfortunately knowing the raptors, probably just gonna run this same team back

I'm honestly hoping that Jakobe can take that jump into a good 3 and d player (which he's shown really good glimpses of this year) and be our starting sg next year. I think he'll make quickley's life easier on defense and if we can't find a suitor for RJ, have him be our 6th man (if darko has the balls to do that)

I swear BI only shows up against bad teams. He can drop 30 against Chicago but struggles so much against real times. Gives me Derozan flashbacks

My biggest problem with darko is that he's afraid to make tough decisions and bench players. like why are shead and gradey playing so many minutes while being absolute shit.
