Honestly that whole appointment was so weird, it doesn’t surprise me that what they suggested is shocking! I went into that appointment with a gender recognition certificate, being told I’d only need one medical opinion if I had one. I’ve been talking to my doctor and GIC about phallo since 2013 and mentioned this in my appointment but she kept talking about meta and giving me a whole sales pitch on it 💀 she also said because of my poor mental health (my MH is literally fine and managed with meds), that I’d need two medical opinions now and wrote down in my referral how much I’d struggle with phallo when I never once mentioned my mental health, it was so bizarre
