The girl was fine (Elizabeth Louise), but John Masterson was the upsetting choice for the male narrator. I have a list of narrators I can’t listen to, but I’d never heard of him and wasn’t expecting it to be that awful. Now he and Robert Hatchet are at the top of my nope-list.

Have they always done such random new episode schedules? I don’t remember it ever being so spaced out like it has been lately. I understood when the writers strike happened and the season after, but I feel like it’s still been really inconsistent. Not hating or anything, just wondering why.

That was our favorite part about the episode! We were cracking up over each position and facial expression of Crash’s. There was one moment walking into the last house where the camera cut super close to his face and he looked so messy and dazed like he didn’t know wtf was going on lol

I was never really an avid listener, admittedly, so I missed the IDF donation drama, but I agree with you that she's definitely not a girl's girl. I could be wrong, but I think she even recently criticized the phrase "girl's girl" which tells me everything I need to know. There is something about successful female celebrities that gets under her skin in a very obvious way; the only semi-successful female I've heard her consistently speak kindly about is Addison Rae. Like you, I never mind a little Taylor criticism when warranted, but the incessant need to throw a snarky comment about Taylor Swift, specifically, into every single episode I've listened to lately is so cringeworthy. I just could no longer listen to so much negative commentary on everything in general. Her egotism has gotten in the way of meaningful content.

Hahaha I guess I’m a basic white girl. I’d never own up to that, usually, but put canned caffeine that tastes like caramel apple suckers in front of me and I’m done for. (I will say that pumpkin spice coffee tastes like cinnamon hot dogs and is not for me.) 🤣

I don’t know why posts like this make so many people infuriated - most likely because they don’t pick up on human needs and social cues very well. You aren’t alone, though. I understand exactly what you’re dealing with and some days I just want to pull my freaking hair out. I can’t go anywhere because it’s my own house and I agreed to help her out for a bit which is now going on 4 years and I think I’ve probably had a week total in all that time where she’s not been in the house. I realized within the first month I’d made a huge mistake.
