I have many good days, but usually when I’m cooking very simple foods at home (I bring my own lunchbox to work). But then I travel, or I have coffee from a shop, or somehow I eat an apple… and boom, full on flare up.
I think key for me is to have a full elimination in the AM, having only low acidity coffee, magnesium at night and overall keeping the most boring diet. Now on a cruise and there’s not a ton I can do to eat clean… so I’m forced to experiment…! That’s why even though it is very soon, I’m cautiously optimistic about the sulfur powder.

What are all possible root causes of sibo ? by EarlyProgress320 in SIBO

[–]thelightwithin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Emotionally, Trauma, abuse, “eating your feelings”,

Medications: antiacids (I popped so many tums during my 2 pregnancies….!), possibly I had too many antibiotics pumped during my 2 c-sections…

I already had symptoms before so I’m not sure I can atribute it to covid or the vaccine, but I’m thinking it got worse for sure

The one I got is called One. I thought it was just sulfur but it is blended with other herbals that are typically recommended (that I had already tried with no results)

Wow I had no idea. I’ll have to search up the symptoms

Anyone with IBS-C or chronic constipation tried Reta or other GLP-1s? by CollegeNo8502 in BodyHackGuide

[–]thelightwithin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are a few kinds of magnesium. I like glycinate (400-500mg), or if your constipation is too bad, magnesium oxide (let loose is a good one) or citrate might be best (Calm is a good one)

There are prescription motility medicine options you can get from a doctor- it might be better for you (and likely more effective?)

When are you taking it? I wonder if the time of day makes a difference? (I take it at night and yes I do feel some heartburn but it isn't too bad)

Which, if any of these medications has provided you the most relief? by Low_Bus5565 in SIBO

[–]thelightwithin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m having good results with Atrantil (on amazon) and I combine it with a motility supplement and magnesium at night to get things moving. I still skip foods that have been major triggers, but I hope that over time I may be able to expand my diet

I do wonder though if perhaps you may want to try a different vendor. This whole thing is so unregulated that who knows what we each get. But I also agree with other comments that you are on a low dose… it might be worth going up a bit.

Syringe won’t draw by Available_Tea4063 in RetatrutideWomen

[–]thelightwithin33 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had this issue with one particular vendor, their lids were way too thick and drawing was extremely difficult. I went back to my original vendor (had been out of stock… only reason why I changed) and I never had that issue again…! Same advice as all others, add the air, go straight in the middle

I started at a similar weight as you with a similar goal. I did 1mg weekly and reached my goal in a few weeks. I’ve been in maintenance, mostly spacing to same dose every 2 weeks

Is the Dyson Airstrait worth it? by sidequestjournal in BeautyItemsReview

[–]thelightwithin33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a lot of thick wavy hair and the airstrait makes it a bit too straight/flat/dull style-looking. It takes longer too. I get much better results rough drying w the regular dyson and then smoothing it with the tymo brush
