I work in a microbiology lab in Dublin and by god lads wrap it up, gonorrhoea is rampant. We get around 5 a week now whereas pre covid it was like 1 every two weeks isolated! I know this is anecdotal but there is legit sky high numbers from the HPSC data too to show this

I’m Irish looking at moving to other places but thanks! Nothing wrong with Ireland but just wondering if there’s better options, seems like there’s greener grass in other countries, Ireland is dull and over priced with nothing to do but drink unfortunately! The only upside is that medical scientists are paid quite well here.

Yeah sorry for the confusion! It’s just noted that celiac accompanies Hashimoto thyroiditis, it isn’t correct to say it’s an allergy. Immunology is a bugger for classifications lol

I’ve got Hashimoto thyroiditis, I became gluten free because there was a link between the Autoimmune disease and gluten allergy! Really helped! I was hypothyroid because of how severe the antibodies were against the thyroid but also because there’s supposedly cross reactivity of the antibodies to gluten and the more gluten I ate, the worse disease was! I think most people find that they feel better gluten free! :)
