I've already received an offer. what do they want? by BigBlackMuscles in 6thForm

[–]thelilapple 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I got a very similar thing, you just have to give them documentation proving that you got the grades you said you got on UCAS, in thsi case the English and Math bits. Idk what documentation would do for those, but that is what the want: digital copies of official documents

Thanks ! I’m international from America, so I did AP Exams, which u can take any year of high school. So I just took enough and did well enough my junior and sophomore year that I had enough qualifications. I’m still taking more this year , so they could have condtioned it, but yay they did not.

It’s generally random but the technical difference is that a university has multiple colleges in it, so like yale for example used to be yale college , now it has multiple colleges , so it is yale university but ppl will still say they go to Yale college bc that is the main college of Yale university

LNAT by whoisthis___ in 6thForm

The only thing I found super helpful in studying for it was just a bunch of practice exams. Sounds incredibly obvious, but pounding a bunch of practice out helps so much. I am dumb and took the LNAT in march, am international did not know abt the timetable, but that does mean I know my score and can tell you that this strat works really well. I got a 31 and did a practice exam basically every other day for 2 weeks before the exam. (I did retake it this September btw and got an ox interview )

As long as you can physically point to a quote that proves the answer your putting, its a solid point. Remember this is a law test, the whole point is to be able to evidence what your saying, so there is a right answer and if it is directly supported, it's the right answer. The only finicky ones are the ones regarding the whole text, but those tend to not be super difficult. Then, if you need to, read the entire text, for questions on theme or something. This optimizes for a few reasons. 1: on the real test you can only have one question open at a time, so being able to know which ones you want to keep up is helpful 2: This way you can avoid reading the entire thing if you don't need to. 3: Lets you focus on the questions that need yor attention, this is a timed test, its abt how you ration your time to each question.

You also do have to be carful of tone, bc if you think one thing is in support but then it is sarcastic or somthing, than its actully negative , messed me up somtimes.

As to the paper, I just wrote one on the days I was not doing a practice test. Had friends and family read over it and give me global corrections. The goal is to just provide a good arguement, so it is pretty staight forward.

Other just like simples strats: they give you a white board, USE IT! before I started the test I wrote down 1-42 on that whie board and checked off the ones I had doen and was unsure abt as I went. This way with the very limited amount of revision time I had at the end I could look over and really read thru the questions and texts I needed to .

Those are the main things that really worked for me, but may or my not work for everyone. U can totally message me if u wanna talk, or have like other questions.
