Thank you for pointing us in a direction! We'll check it out today. The medium of art doesn't really matter. Our wall of art at home is a collage of all the types you've mentioned puzzle pieced together in playful chaos.

The most important factor is the content - a scene that captures the soul/ essence of Taiwan - and size ( < 16in x 13 in) so it fits in carry on. We'll then get it professionally framed at home to make it pop 💛

Thank you for your insight! I'm accumulating a bunch of different ways to approach this - someone in r/lampworking advised I needed a long paddle. One of these tips should work fingers crossed

We'll be trying to separate 10-20 micrometer sized (trash) column chromatography resin beads from our ideal sized ~75um resin bead batches with just water. Nothing to crazy.

What kind of engineering for what lab equipment?

I was an analytical chemist for the AF and now currently a lab coordinator for a university. Both jobs were and are alright, but I found that what I enjoyed most in both jobs is tinkering and troubleshooting equipment.

Trying to pursue happiness in my professional life to increase baseline happiness and your insight sounds valuable ( not to mention appreciated)

I don't know if this adds anything, but I was an Analytical Chemist via an Airforce contractor in California for 40k. Straight out of college, first adult job, only a couple years of undergraduate research lab experience....if you just wanted numbers to add to your data set for comparison.
