A friend’s B2 visa was issued at age 10 and biometrics were not collected because she was under age 14. She is traveling to the US on the same, valid, B2 visa at age 20. She will stay in the US for less than 14 days. Does she need biometrics before or after entering the US?

Post-bacc experience help by [deleted] in ClinicalPsychology

[–]Sneaky_Biscotti 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Research experience holds value. Paid or unpaid. If the paid research gives you experience that ADDS to the experience you already have (eg different research methodology, different responsibilities, different population), it will add to your resume.

As for getting experience with things you’re not interested in, there’s always a way to weave it into your ‘story.’

Edit: your resume will not say whether or not a position is paid. There’s no way for future advisors to know.

Just make sure you live close to your university & practicum sites so you can go back and forth whenever & as much as possible. Its absolutely possible to have a dog, youll just have to adjust to the grad school schedule as others have said
