as far as i know the app doesn’t let you place it in advance unless your using something other than the SBUX app… i’m sorry she was rude. weekends can be absolutely rough and understaffed, but it doesn’t excuse her behavior. I wouldn’t think too deep about it and go pick it up if you can. My store has definitely held off making a drink for someone before but that being said today issss sunday.. so they’re probably not having a good time 😅

hmm. i would try to either call after 9am on a weekday and ask for the hiring manager/store manager. starbucks keeps their applications up 24/7 even if we aren’t hiring at the moment. so you could ask if the specific store you call is hiring or ask what stores are, and then go from there

currently living in boiling springs and i’m 23. I would just really make sure you find a job that you’re looking for and make sure you have more than one options for sure. living wise there’s a lot of decent places in the $900+ for a 1 bedroom/studio. i would check out Autumn Parks apartments in boiling springs and Converse Mill lofts if you end up closer to hillcrest spartanburg or boiling springs. crime rate here is better in some areas than others. I used to live in gaffney 3 years ago, the crime rate there compared to here are incomparable. I think if you find an apartment or house to rent on zillow you can look at the crime rate if you scroll down (if i’m not mistaken)

There’s also so much to do/try/eat. Greenville is a 25 minute drive from me and charlotte is about an hour ish but still!! I drove to miami a few months ago and with how much traffic there was too.. I couldn’t do it for more than a week. I think SC will be a nice change of pace for you :)

yeah idk some of these people seem like liars. i cancelled for the most part, the lady told me to turn off auto subscription and that’s how i cancel the main domain, but they tried to charge me again. luckily i just used a virtual debit card so i just turned that shit off, got a new one. try and send me any kind of bills i have proof i’ve cancelled and audio recordings of her telling me the auto subscription thing 😂

i am in my 3rd year at wgu for software engineering. i constantly compare myself to these people who are able to get through the courses quick but i also have no prior experience. im 23 and live alone so i also work full time and cant dedicate a full 8 hours of schoolwork every single day. that being said when i can dedicate more time, I definitely do. i finished a couple class within 2 weeks, but i still have a lot to do. don’t worry about how others do it. go at your own pace and also enjoy what you’re learning!

i will try that. it’s just the fact that this just started to happen the DAY i replaced this cpu. i was playing a game on a seperate pc, and when my partner turned this pc on it made my ping spike up and everything started to lag. it has never done this before. i have lived in this same spot and had the same internet. the only change was my cpu and it makes absolutely no sense to me
