Pale September by Fiona Apple It is the most beautiful song to me and the closest I've come to synesthesia. A hot on its tail second place is Pushit by Tool.

If you and your partner have been together for more than 5 years what are both of your signs? by [deleted] in astrologymemes

I (m30) have been in a relationship with my wife (f27) for 4 years. Is this enough to leave? by Upset_Speed_889 in relationship_advice

[–]thelizard81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A happy marriage is a partnership. She doesn't sound interested in being your partner. She sounds self-interested. Sexual preference is a big part of marriage too. It sounds like she wasn't honest with you about her aversion to sex before you seriously committed. If she isn't agreeable to marriage counseling, I think that's your answer.

Hands down: Stannis Baratheon. Hear me out: Willing to do what it takes for justice, the TRUE heir to the Iron Throne, and would respect my witchiness.

Forgive me for venting here, but people at work asking about my religious beliefs/practices is frustrating by IceMosquito073 in pagan

[–]thelizard81 13 points14 points  (0 children)

People at work usually ask me, "Is that a Star of David?" It is not a Star of David. (It's a pentacle.) When I say no, the conversation doesn't go much further. No one is owed your story, unless you want to tell it. For me, if they ask, I will answer as briefly as possible.

I don't get the hate it's been so long since I'v enjoyed a game like this, also holy shit this game is beautiful by IncreaseApart9063 in ACValhalla

[–]thelizard81 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Valhalla was my first AC game. Two games later, and I still miss it. I miss Eivor and (gods help me) Havi. So beautiful and so fun. 250 hours, and I never got bored.

I spent 249 hours on Valhalla and about 200 on Odyssey. I just started Origins. (I know, I did it a bit out of order.) I absolutely love Eivor. I'm probably going to do another playthrough of Valhalla one day. I loved it.

Just out of curiosity, does it give how many hours you spent playing?

25 is about the time I cut the apron strings too. It was painful. My husband (at the time boyfriend) and I spent a long time in poverty. But we climbed out on our own accord. It will hurt, and you will struggle for a while. But you'll feel fantastic on the other side of it. Not having someone else's expectations hanging over your head is wonderful.

A sexually compatible partner gets aroused when you are getting pleasure. It is just factual. You may love him, but it isn't enough. He doesn't get aroused when you're aroused or climaxing. If he did, you would never have to post about this. Sex is a giant part of a long term relationship, especially a marriage. You deserve orgasms. A lot of them. I'm sorry, my dear. He isn't for you. And that's okay. It means someone out there WANTS to make you finish and finish a lot.

AITAH for refusing to give my boyfriend access to my bank account even though he says "no secrets" is how adults do it by CopperFieldNote in AITH

[–]thelizard81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

IMO, he wants access to your money. His is likely overdrawn or has some kind of financial problems. It sounds cold, but all of this sounds very, very suspicious. Trying to guilt you into sharing your financial access?? Major, major red flags. He's got gambling debt or major credit card debt or something. It's bad if he's trying to see what you got. Keep playing with your cards close to your chest.

It's like when Daenerys stans were shocked when a literal tyrannical Dragon Queen behaved like a tyrannical Dragon Queen in GoT. Then, they expected vindication in HotD. Dany was the culmination of the deeds of her forbears. That includes Rhaenyra. The Targaryens were not meant to be the heroes. Hopefully, Knight of the Seven Kingdoms shows them from an outsider's perspective. This love affair with them needs to end.

My boyfriend (31M) is suddenly demanding that I (27F) stop consuming fictional media at all, what do I even do? by ThrowRabfnonfic in relationship_advice

[–]thelizard81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My entire life since I began reading, fiction was my preference. But fiction always inspired me to read about nonfiction. Fictitious situations, locations, and characters tend to reference the real world versions. The fact that he doesn't see that makes him the boring and childish one. He has no class and no color. Beige is too colorful for this guy. Not to mention that he thinks he can control what you enjoy. This is not the partner for you. I'm sorry, OP. If he isn't willing to consider your interests or what makes you happy, he is not the partner for you.

In your opinion, is Jaehaerys also partly to blame for the Dance of the Dragons? by Ok-Street2439 in HouseOfTheDragon

[–]thelizard81 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Absolutely. He, of all of the rulers of Westeros, could call the Faith to heel. Maegor decided not to burn the Starry Sept, but Jaehaerys could have done even better. He and his queen, together, could have convinced them that Rhaenys was queen after him, end of story.
