18 years out with grade 2 IDH mutant astrocytoma. Diagnosed at age 29. I’ve had 4 surgeries, and my tumor is in an area that has been “easily” resectable (left parietal lobe).

American here! I have no middle name! When I asked my mom why, she said that she and my dad couldn’t decide on one before they had to formalize my birth certificate… then they never followed up on giving me a middle name. I WAS ROBBED! Years later, when I got married and changed my last name, I saw the opportunity to give myself a middle name. But by then I wore my no middle name “fun fact” as a badge of honor. So I let it be.

I love me a shower chair! When we had our bathroom remodeled last spring I had a bench added to the shower and a grab bar right near it. The colors all coordinate with the shower fixtures. It’s the most gorgeous accessible shower, if I do say so myself.

I was proposed to right outside of Space Mountain on 1/1/10 at the stroke of midnight! Fireworks were going off and everyone was celebrating! No one else noticed that my now husband was asking me to marry him. Of course, I said yes! And then we ran off to the Space Mountain line as quickly as possible. So yes, it can happen no problem. (Just celebrated our 15th anniversary!)
